This is a good idea but rather then numbers it should be your guild tag
eg [Guild:IRP]
or even better just /<tag>
eg /IRP Whats up guys?
Additionally, I would like to see an option where all your guild tags were displayed instead of just the name of the one currently represented

Home World: Tarnished Coast
Guild Name: Immersive Roleplayers [IRP]
Guild Website: http://immersiverp.wikispaces.com
In-Game Contact: Cassandra Tesper
Focus: Deep roleplay while engaging in game content
Quick Notes: Not intended to be your primary guild, just a way of finding other players who want to play the game in-character.
Immersive Roleplayers [IRP] is not your typical role-play guild.
We do no “plots” or “stories”, nor do we organize guild “events”.
We don’t expect to or even want to be your primary guild or the guild you “represent” when you play.
What we are is loose confederation of players who all ascribe to a common role-play ethic. When you meet someone else in game who is a member of IRP you can expect a certain standard and type of role-play interaction. If you are looking for someone to interact with in-character you can check to see if any other IRPers are on-line.
Most importantly, if you want to actually play the game content in-character with others, as opposed to just standing around chatting, you can find others who do the same.
If this interests you then please visit us and request access to our website and a guild invite at http://immersiverp.wikispaces.com
The fact that you can belong to more then one guild is a great idea, but the implementation could be a lot more then it is today.
It could really change the way guilds are used, by allowing people to join various guilds that represent various interests. and actively participate in all of them. This could result in a far less fragmented community.
To support this however there are two things necessary. #1 is more important then #2
1. Allow players to monitor and chat on guild channels for more then one guild at once.
2. Have a setting to display all your guild tags over your head, not just the one you are currently representing.

Oh, I should also mention that my primary is currently only level 9 and Im not looking to rush to end game. I want to play with people with whom I can enjoy the journey
I’m a 35 year pen and paper roleplay veteran and have played MMORPGs going back to AOL’s original NWN.
I’m a method actor. For me, a great deal of the fun is going deep into character and you will not see me talk much about myself in game. I also write back-story and tween-story posts and enjoy interaction with other characters that develops my characterization.
What I am NOT into is attempts to create “drama”, “plotting” or sit-around and just play pretend for long periods in game. I don’t “event” as such, believing that RP is something that should be done as you play the game, not something separate you do.
My style of play leans very much to the serious acting and literary questions of “what would a person actually in this world be like and do.” I strongly dislike god-modding and teen power fantasies. I equally dislike the “let me tell you all about my horrible past” emo school of play. I DETEST people who want to play WoD in every MMORPG they try.
I am neutral on ERP. I can do it, I can also do “fade to black”, as the other player prefers. I haven’t found that one or the other is more or less good for character development, but the point must be that the ERP grows out of and strengthens the character development and is not just a substitute for “phone sex.”
I know this is a lot of likes and dislikes, but if this seems to fit with your guild’s play approach, please message me. I am on Tarnished Coast and would prefer to stay there but Id be willing to consider a server move for the right group.
