From another thread, a list of what we got in 2014:

New World Bosses:
Triple Trouble

New story:
Living Story Season 2: Storyline

New zones:
The Silverwastes Map with all related Achievements, mini-bosses, events etc
Dry Top, a new zone that is expanding with new releases

New skins (not including gem store skins):
Carapace and Luminescent armor sets
Hexed Outfit
Ambrite Weapons
Mawdrey scavenger hunt backpiece

Stat updates:
Some new stat combinations
New sigils and runes added
Ferocity update

Account bound items:
Account-wide dye unlocks and wardrobe for armor and weapon skins
New Collections for the Wardrobe skins
Account-wide Miniatures, outfits and finishers
Account-bound world experience, legendary and ascended equipment
Account-bound and colored commander tags

PVP:
PVP tracks
Standard enemy models and Glorious Reward Track in Structured PvP

Systems:
Trading Post redesign (gem exchange redesign two times)
Trait system redesign + 40 new traits
Megaservers

WvW:
WvW Spring Tournament 2014
Edge of the Mists WvW Map

It means anything changes : we have only 10 hours of new content for the new map. I like the game very much, i love Guild Wars 1 too. But i think Guild Wars 2 suffer for new content, new dungeons, new races, new professions or a new reason for continue to play beyond the collectable new skins.
