$50 for an expansion 3 years late to a game with no real content for players that have been playing since day one. Nothing like being treated like a peasant by a game company.

In all honesty. Anet owes its players a whole lot. This expac should be only $30 for people that have the core game already. After being constantly reminded that nothing major was going to come out month after month. This seems pretty horrid.

If the expac is not worth that price tag then I truly do feel sad for us veteran players that have stuck with the game since day one. With the hope of something to do in the game other than running around repeating the same thing since the first year.

I see the prices for the pre-orders are up, but you left something out. I already own the game, so I just need the price for the expansion. You guys probably just forgot to put up the completely reasonably priced $35 – $40 option for the expansion for those who already have the core game, so I’m sure you’ll get that sorted out quickly. Good gaming.

Also technically, I don’t think you can buy the core game anymore so it isn’t free. It has no price really.

Ascended is like Legendary, nice to have but you do not in any way, shape or form NEED them. If you want them, there is a clearly defined way to get them. Do the work necessary or do without them.

As long as RNG boxes are sold in the gemstore, Guild Wars 2 will survive. In all honesty though, I’m beginning to doubt that Anet will actually implement a meaningful patch in the future. I’m getting tired of these bore-fests every two weeks. That being said, the game hasn’t changed much at all since beta, and for a game that boasts “World Changing Events”, that’s sure sad. I don’t feel like the world has been changed at all. I feel like there’s the main state of the game in which nothing of importance ever happens, and then on patch days something of no importance happens, and then it goes back to the main state of the boring game. Even WoW had more world-changing events in it when a dragon landed in a field and put fissures in the ground forever. I’ll continue to wait for better content, but I won’t hold my breath.
