What is the most useful build out there atm?

I heard something about a new build with Gs and Mace/shield which sounds interesting.
I am looking for a build that is kinda pure damage

I’m looking for a nice build that provides O.K damage and still makes me a bit tough. I tried glass cannon mesmer and i did not like it. I wish to be able to stay alive a bit more… What do you guys suggest??

So i finally changed my style and i am now looking for matching armor to my new sword (you can see it in the attachments)
I guess it needs to be skull’ish’
Heavy armor if you have not guessed yet

I am considering a mesmer… But due to playing guardian (where i feel i do no damage)
I would like to know… Which class is the most damaging and caster based one. Heard Necromancers had some nice damage but after trying them a bit i am not sure at all :/

Get yourself a Greatsword, stats on the greatsword don’t matter. Take 10 points into the Arms trait line and get the trait “Deep Strike”. Then change all your healing/utility/elite skills to signets and you’ll get lots of precision. Use Hundred Blades a lot and faceroll through most of PvE.

Should i stick with my ranged weapon or would it be a good idea to go something like “greatsword and sword/axe”
Is there any particular stat i should look out for besides precision?
What should i spent my other trait points on?

So i have been playing Warrior for a while. I notice i keep dying though. I am having a hard time with the most simple mobs. I thought it may be my stats that is wrong. So let me tell you what i am using
I am lvl 49.
My gear is Power and Vitality
I use Sword/Axe and Longbow.
Could i have some advice on what weapons and or stats to go for?

So i have been playing Gw2 for around 5 or 6 months now. I have always avoided playing Sylvari for an unknown reason. I enjoyed playing Human and Norn a lot. But my gameplay got a bit boring yesterday. So i decided… Let’s try the Sylvari now. And i did. Right now i have fallen in love with the game like the first time i played it. I got my headset and maxed the sound. I love it!
I feel all sorts of life energy in myself when i play Sylvari. The flowers, sounds and generally the race.
What do you think?
