I like the fact that they are hidden, too.
BUT, when they are able to make such cool boss encounter for exploration achievments – why don’t make some for new instances? I think the current boss encounters are really dumb and don’t require much effort

First of all. This is a mix between a suggestion and a question to the community.

So… yesterday I decided to do some of the exploration achievments from the general tab with a friend. We started with the new “History Buff” achievment to get some lore and decided to do some more. In the end we did like 10.
The one achievment – where by both agreed that it is insane to hide such things – was “Vexa’s Lab”.

So my question and my suggestion…

Question: Are there more hidden “awesome-epic-mega-super-dupa-mini-dungeons” like Vexa’s Lab in GuildWars2?

Suggestion: Like the topic says: Why hide awesome boss encounters? The one thing that’s stopping me from playing this game on a daily basis is the lack of funny and sophisticated boss encounters. The encounter in Vexa’s Lab required good movement (roboter kicking you from a grid of bars + pulls and knockback from the boss), has an amazing environment and when you buff the life and dmg of this golem it could be very used to be a end-boss in a new dungeon. Plus you are dead when you not focus down the turrets that respawning every minute -> need to change target and keep an eye on multiple things.
The problem I see (or my problem with this game is) that bosses are either to low health+lack of required movement (instant nuke with many warriors etc) or to high life (it takes for ever to kill them -> Fractals on high levels).
Why don’t you bring a boss encounter that has relatively low life but requires a ton of movement. And make it a multiple-phase fight. Like exactly the encounter in Vexa’s Lab

P.S. If a mod thinks this topic is better of in another sub-forum feel free to move the post.

Then explain me sense of: “Thus, after changing your password, you’ll be confident that your new password is unique within Guild Wars 2.”
It sais that my password is unique!! in GW2. How will they achiev that other than adding my current password to the blacklist?

Today i red this:
“This all leads to the following request. All existing customers, please change your password. When you change it, the system won’t allow you to pick your previous password, or any password that we’ve seen tested against any existing or non-existent account. Thus, after changing your password, you’ll be confident that your new password is unique within Guild Wars 2.” – Mike O’Brien

I want to take one thing away. I’m not an expert on the field of Security BUT I studing it for almost 3 years now. (Mean I don’t have that much real world experience)
I like your idea of putting als the “easy” or already scanned passwords on a blacklist.
But your idea of putting also the password a GW2 player choosed on this blacklist is aweful!!
For example: I changed my password from 1234 to my secure password hj282j2jdd.
After doing this I can be sure that this password isn’t used by anyone else, right?
You know who is able to pull that conclusion too? The “hacker”!
They can now for example get A account – try to change their password and when doing this they become a message like: “Password is on our blacklist”.
When this happens by a password like 1234 they can be sure that this password is their because it’s a easy to guess password.
But when they try hj282j2jdd and the message: “Password is on our blacklist” they can nearly be sure that somebody is using that password!!!
In this way they can easyly compute a high propablity passwrd table!

So bottom line:
Blacklist => awesome!
Allow a single password only once in GuildWars => aweful!!!

Hope I get some attention!! Because this is not good security!

Ok we noticed something!
The person who enters the Instance 1st will be affected by this “downscaling”
I opened our 1st TA run (up) and got 45 badges
I opened our 2nd TA run (forward/forward) and got 30 badges
A friend of mine opened our 3rd TA run (forward/up). I got 15 badges. And he got 45.

I think one u “triggered” this thing by entering the dungeon as the first person you will be affected by this bug
