He just set his status to “away” in the friends menu. Means nothing.

Some people have such a hard time of staying on around a point they already have if there is nobody to fight, so they run far or treb or whatever and sometimes that ruins the whole match for your team.

You are literally complaining just to complain. A daily achievement for a JP is not “unrelenting pressure”. And it’s actually one of the few places random players actually get together and help eachother/mess around in a large group.

I am having the same problem. My first step was to uninstall the game, and to do a fresh install. Afterwards, when starting the launcher, nothing happens. I’ve waited hours, and nothing. I’ve tried restarting, running first aid on drives, removing and reinstalling again, launcher still does nothing. I’ve not changed anything on my system. I was is a game, and it crashed, which it did frequently anyway. I tried to restart it, like always, and nothing happened. That’s when I began the first uninstall, and reinstall. Now I have a product that I’ve paid for, that does not work.

Do this:
You can try to delete the contents of the gw2 data folder, it’s a pain to get to the right one: this step is a general fix for many tp and graphics issues, even without the previous steps however, it will lose all saved log in/password and in-game settings.

To access this:
1 Click on the “Finder” icon located in your dock or the desktop of your computer to make “Finder” the active program in the finder menu bar.
2 Hold down the “Option” key on your keyboard while clicking “Go” in the finder menu bar. A drop-down will appear.
3 While still holding down the “Option” key, click on “Library” in the “Go” drop-down.
4 Once in the Library folder click on Application Support > Guild Wars 2
5 Move the entire Guild Wars 2 folder to the trash and then empty the trash.

The next time you launch Guild Wars 2 it will recreate the recently deleted folder.

This was what worked for me after trying many of the things in this thread and talking to support.

This fix worked before the hot fix and I was playing fine today, then crash, and no launching. Fix does not work now.

I put in a ticket and got a response that they are looking into it.

I did the work around to download the update. I saw GMKvendlf’s post and tried reverting. Then nothing worked.

I redownloaded the client. Still doesn’t work unless I manually open cider first.

I put in a ticket about this problem and they are looking at it. I’ll let u know too if they tell me something good.

I used the work around posted yesterday. Game worked today, then crashed and now launcher no longer starts (again). Tried changing the work around back and no luck. Feel like I need to reinstall client.

Had the same issue, problem code 1712 or whatever. Did the AppCleaner and still wouldn’t open. Went to the activity monitor and saw GW2 was running and force quit it. Then relaunched and it came back to life. Hope that helps.

Ether Renewal munches up the conditions. If your getting hit hard it won’t heal you much but it will keep your health bar up while its casting. Enough to blow some other heals when its done

This is the big pipe up on the wall near the town in Dry Top. Quite a challenge to get up here. All professions can do it, you only use jump and a little sun boost. GL!

My issue is that the last week before the tourney, Dragonbrand made gold.

We barely belonged there. But that’s fine, someone has to be at the bottom. But as a reward for getting gold tier, we got ZERO shiny weapons, instead of the two we probably would have gotten in silver tier. And they teased us with 275 tickets, just 25 shy of our weapon.

That’s a problem.

My thoughts exactly. If we, Dragonbrand, were in silver we would absolutely dominate every server in that tier like we used to, and would have the gold reward. But we got into gold tier where their wvw population is a third (Mag) or more than twice our size. We cannot have a nice new skin, not even one. Even with spending ALOT of time completing the meta. And what is the reward for the meta? Oh boy! More ascended crafting mats and luck essence!

You can buy level 80 beserk armor from the COF vendor. There is a second tab on the left hand side where that armor is after you ask to see the armor. A full armor set cost about 1350ish tokens.

Seriously the most challenging fun I have ever had in this game = trib mode. No sympathy for the whiners out there.
