After a bit more looking into it, I’ve found out that both Major weapon AND armor runes of any kind do not work no matter what armor piece I buy. I had bought a completely new set of armor, not transmuted, and the runes won’t work on it.

Edit: At the moment, the only makeshift solution I can think of is to just deal with not being able to use major runes. Though Superior and Minor runes work just fine.

For me, they are major runes. However, I read on some other posts that there are some bugs with transmuted gear; and yes, mine is a level 35 transmuted armor set. Moreover, when I had thought that to be the only issue, I realized that no major rune worked or any armor (including low level armor I bought). When I tried to make sure that none of my runes would work, I realized that the runes for my Trinkets worked fine. Haven’t tried weapons yet however.

Edit: I just not retried the runes and found out that it is most likely because of the transmutation. I got another piece of armor, yet this time it worked. It’s just not working on my transmuted armor.

I’m having a similar issue. Except, randomly after buying 6 major runes, none of them would apply to any armor. Then I bought a random piece of armor and another rune for the same result. Anyone have a solution?
