Right lol they say it’s over powered but then turn around and say you need to learn to play if your dying >.>

how can it be over powered yet you die unless you don’t know how to play with it?

so it takes skill to use but it’s also over powered. . . yeah its easier to just call em trolls

I don’t know all the fancy terminology for the game which is why when i ask questions i tend to keep them simple like “if im traveling solo and run into 2 enemies will i be able to fend for myself”

I think its a perfectly valid question Im not saying over power them but i’d like to be able to at least make a decent retreat without the majority of my hp being gone

I would love to travel in groups but last time i played it was sooo hard to find anyone to party with -.- I tried reviving someone and they said “I didn’t need your help”
which baffled me because the guy was just there on the ground for a great deal of time -.-

It’s been awhile since i played like maybe ummm about 6+ months maybe longer i mainly just pve so is the ele okay to travel alone?

Like before if i fought 2 enemies i had to run it was to much has this problem been dealt with?

So you want to be able to 1 vs 2 at any given time? Regardless of skills?

Well to be honest the post was kind of just to see what kind of response i would get out of you . . . i didn’t quiet know how to take you i didn’t want to jump on the wagon of ahhh hes just a troll; then coupled with your mass response to every thread that even hints towards a negative thought about the ele added to your belief that this dax person is the only one whose opinion matters

I knew you would respond though and now i have a better idea how to handle you thanks for being just like the patch updates anet tosses out “routine and pathetic”

we could continue back in forth but I know how you work in im sure there are other threads you have to stalk and voice your opinion on so be safe

I think ele in pve is slightly broken and the dancing attunement trick does little to change that. you get very little benefit for all your hard work

I think some people saying its perfectly fine are either the wannabe elite in a few trolls -.-

Had one guy say the ele was overpowered -.-

Don’t worry with that mindset he won’t ever get into a position of any real authority lol

They set up these forums to get user feedback to fix problems to keep current users as future customers because when the next expansion or game comes along a big factor in that purchase will be how they treated customers on their previous purchase

It’s really sad you can’t focus on one style in build around it that would be pretty neat and would create more diversity among the class -.- but alas it isn’t instead where given each ele and where not particularly powerful at any single one -.- life of the ele

The problem is I love the ele I can’t be anything else but the ele I’m willing to do all the work involved with the class but it has so many faults you can’t help but bring them to attention because of what it takes away from the class

I think Elementalist is OP in PvE and sucks in PvP, why? Elementalist is a complicated class to use, for exemple: If you use a staff, you need to use all of your skill, not only fire because you think the other element sucks, its not like a warrior, with a warrior, you use you attack skill and do damage, and thats it. But with an elementalist, you need to use strategies. I personnaly start by using earth element with a staff, i use 2 to do some bleeding and then i use fire then switch to water, etc… I never had problem doing my personal storyline, most of the quest were done when i was 1-2 or 3 level under the recommended level.

I also can solo up to 10 monster at the same time by using strategies, i think thats a bit OP.

I also love my ele tried guardian wasn’t for me but the ele needs a fix regardless of my love for it

it sure doesn’t feel like atunement dancing makes a difference

Kyros -.- like the guy said before your one of a kind buddy its nice to see but the general idea is people are looking for a change to the ele keep the complicated learning aspects but give some rewards for it as well

just because the ele gets a boost doesn’t mean everyone’s going to jump ship because it will still have the same steep learning curve and different skills/controls/unities

while the other classes have ease of use with rewards -.- people who pick ele weren’t going in saying well this class looks like it will own all the others easily i researched I knew what to expect what i didn’t expect was to be nerfed because of the learning curve

when you do twice the work you should get twice the reward right now its like were taking an exam and acing it just to be told their is an even harder exam because we did so well -.-

Can you make the ele not so dependable on group support because it’s kinda been hard to party of late so most of the time is spent solo >.> which is hard for the ele user

when in group ele is okay but your not always going to be in a group so yeah >.<

The fact that you had to create a thread to tell people the ele is okay proves something is very wrong. When you need guides and manuals to tell people how to build “their” character that’s where the problem arises.

When I first played as a ele doing the bwe it was okay I could at least handle 1 on 1 situations and people partied up a lot more to carry the ele while I supported them things have changed drastically since.

Starting off as a ele with out group or anyone willing to party is a slow painful lesson every 1 on 1 battle is a fight to the death even if it’s a cow it’s still a 50-50 match. And if a group gets a hold of you it’s all over, and I’m not talking a large group with 5-6 I’m talking a group of 2-3 monsters is enough to force the ele into retreating.

I can’t even play smart in make 1 monster leave off from the group because the 1 monster is still a risk for me. Before posting I did some things to make sure I wasn’t the problem I upgraded my armor i even changed my play-style and switched up atunements more often.

At this point the ele feel’s more like a inconvenience then anything. I want to compare it to something but I can’t quiet put my hand on what to compare it to. maybe a teacher it requires a lot of learning but the payout is very low.
