This seemed to work on Windows 8.1 (latest updates): disabling “Automatically detect settings” in the Network > Proxy control panel.

Not sure if this was just coincidence, or something else was fixed. Perhaps the new launcher is more sensitive to network issues / crappy proxy detection? I had previously tried basically everything everybody else had in this thread (repair, run as admin, disable firewall/av, uninstall/attempt to reinstall).

It’s a simple setting to test out, so it might be worth a shot.

this is getting werry nnyoing got my chars freed last nights patch but then theyre stuck agian now in different maps…

sigh new build unstucked chars…BUT…. whne i enterd my main into wayfarer it ogt stuck… and not guesting ms config or anytihng could got it out >_<im getting really really nanoyedon this…..

areas where stuck : LA,-FRACTALS,fireheart rise,wayfarer foothills and southsun cove.
only ogt chars out of those by questing or doing the msconfig thing…..but if i need services in la orn eed ot do naything in those zones i get stuck again with the errorcode……..this is making the gmae really unplayable…hope ya guys fix it fast, so i and others dont need ot find new gmae to play…..

hopping this one will appear…… tried to post reply nad make topic in lost shores part then few other places.. bc im bit angry about the event ending dc and no rewards……. but forums say i cant crwate topic/post reply……
