You have to keep in mind though that some people might use their different characters for different things, and therefore want different abilities unlocked, which would not be the case if account-bound.

There is no limit to the amount of points one can earn, so after all you will be able to unlock everything, in like 2 years, if you stick with one character.

Can we have a shared WvW rank for all of our characters please. Right now its really annoying for ppl that like to play more than one character.
