Just started having this issue tonight. Been working fine up until today so what gives? Its not something on my machine because nothing has changed, no updates etc run without my approval. Haven’t looked for the patcher as yet as per Elthurien’s suggestion but I will need to find it and try. Logged on to the forum fine but that made no difference. Something has to be happening at the server end?

I’m not exactly sure where the Europe servers are located, so I just did a wild guess and chose London (so original). I got 350 ms. This kind of ms on European servers are normal to me as well.

Hey guys, just used SpeedTest to ping the data centers in Seattle closest to ArenaNet in Bellevue and got 500ms ping and less than 1Mps speeds?

What normally is your ms? If it’s a dramatic change then it could be a problem on your end. Or there is something wrong with servers in Seattle in general.

I’m on Yaks Bend and my usual is around 200 to 300.

Lost of the other US sites are a bit choppy from Australia as well but that seemed to be the worst. Not sure where the problem lies but at least the tells me why I’m not getting what I should.

Since the maintenance window, I am experiencing the following:

- Regular disconnects from the game.
- “Skill lag” = casting not working at all ie press 1 and your auto attacks wont go off
- What seems like extremely low FPS, seems like I am almost playing a picture game and guessing where everything is going to be next.
- Errors logging into website (As I understand it, Anet is aware of this, at least going by twitter)

Ive checked my connectivity and run multiple speed tests. Seems consistent. Started happening around the end of the maintenance window and the game is pretty much unplayable. Ive experienced this in WvW before, figured it was just massive lag due to the server. But this has been constant since maintenance.

I just posted the same experiences in the Network Lag thread. I noticed a maintenance update this morning on Facebook and after logging on today got all of these issues. Yesterday was perfect but something changed overnight.

Mine started about 6 hours ago when I logged on. Constant disconnects back to character selection screen, skill lag etc. I must admit it was certainly more notable in the LV 80 regions (Frostgorge and Cursed Shore). It was happening when grouped doing events and while I was just running around doing hearts by myself in Frostgorge with no-one else around. I am located in Australia like some of the others.

I noticed there was a comment on Facebook about some maintenance completed today and I have only just started experiencing the issue. I was on for a few hours yesterday with no issue at all in all of the above mentioned regions. What changed?
