Armor repair costs seem too high to me, especially for how often some of us die. Some of us die far too often because of invisible enemies and because our server has such a low population in WvW that it’s like a squad (us) going up against a battlion(them). We are basically fighting a losing battle every day (server Devona’s Rest). In our situation we do pay too much for armor repairs and because we are the low pop server that will probably always be the case.
If my repair costs are high because I am terrible at fighting in WvW then that’s my fault. I won’t ask for an adjustment to repair costs because of that.
However Server population does matter in this situation. If the server pops aren’t balanced in some way soon I would suggest an adjustment to repair costs in WvW.

This. That’s the problem I’ve been facing ever since WvWvW became one week long. I don’t care if it takes two hours to get outside the spawn. But I do care about spending twice what I can farm daily before DR hits me in PvE…
Thanks mate!

Hi guys,
just wanted to know, our guild master is thinking about leaving the guild for personal reasons. Does anyone know what would happen to the guild stash?
Thanks in advance!
Server transfers are one of the issue here but the main one is: how do you deal with situations when it’s 150vs50 players on a map? Currently, winning WvWvW is mainly about outnumbering the opponent. And it’s not that hard when the leading server gets the three orbs and all points of the map. No one wants to get in a fight that they know is already lost and pay for it (you’ll be dying a lot thus spending a lot of money). The game might be one week long but when the top server of the match already has twice the amount of points you do after only two days, there is no incentive to try and get back to the fight…
Hi all,
first off, let me start by stating how much I love this game. Ever since the beta week-ends started, I’ve had a blast playing GW2. Everything feels so smooth and polish, like the people behind it actually love and care for what they’re doing.
I am lucky enough that I’m currently studying abroad and have a lot of spare time to play and enjoy the game. A few things, however, are starting to appear as real problems, hindering my experience.
Dungeons make me sick…because of the “rewards”, or lack of, that they offer. Diminishing return when farming gold or karma is another major issue. But outside these two, most of my issues are with WvWvW.
I could probably stay away from it but I love how it plays and I used to have a lot of fun back to the times when WvWvW was a day long. However, the more it goes, the more population balance appears to be a big issue. This morning, I was in a group, organizing to take back Stonemist Castle from red invaders. We stormed in with 7-8 alpha siege golems, siege weapons and all people available on the Eternal Battelgrounds, following the orders of our Commander who was setting up a good strategy. We were quick to get to the guild lord and were so close to get Stonemist when red invaders suddenly came back to try and defend the point. I swear I’m not overreacting: it was a 3vs1 fight. How can one hope to take anything back in WvWvW and do something else that spending most of your time spawning and running around when the enemy outnumbers you by such a big margin?
Not to mention that dying has an other different consequence than having you running all the way back to the fight: repair bills. Why the hell would I spend 2-3 hours trying to get some points for my server when I end up out of money and still outnumbered everytime I try to get to another location?
As a result and since people are tired to try and farm some money in PvE (diminishing return…) they just purely and simply leave WvWvW for good until the match reset. And those people who remain are fewer and fewer to try and change the situation. Honestly, I’m currently levelling another character and I’m starting to feel that I should just avoid WvWvW with it…
Anyone experiencing the same thing or, at the opposite, that could provide me with a different point of view that would get me back to WvWvW? I really want to get back to all the fun I had a few weeks ago…
