Guild Wars 2

As I was running around opening presents in the open world, map chat came to life with reports of packages being opened to reveal level 69 Skritt. This is a level 15-25 zone. After a few more packages, I encountered this myself.

The Skritt were not reduced in level by the zone. I myself was level 24 at the time. All the players who found these bugged packages confirmed the Skritt were always level 69. It was not true of all packages in the zone.

Bug reports filed.

This has become even more relevant now that Ascended gear has been introduced. I did not like spending 120gold for a suit of armor that was inferior by one degree of quality … But spending that much money for armor which is inferior by TWO steps actually makes me kind of mad.

Make Tier 3 cultural armor Exotic. It will still not be the best armor in the game. Players who need to have the best armor in the game will still go out, get that, and transmute their Tier 3 armor.

For those who are curious, the Norn female PC is voiced by Claudia Christian, best known for the role of Susan Ivanova on Babylon 5.

I like her voice and I think she does all right with it, but it must be hard to do that much acting with no context or understanding of what your lines are in response to. A friend of mine is a professional voice actor and it’s a tough job.
