+1 to the original post. I absolutely detest pvp, will never do it, don’t want to spend 1 second in it, yet this game forces me into it not only for a monthly reward but also for getting a special legendary weapon skin.
Remove the friggin pvp parts from pve monthlies already. I detest pvp with a passion. It’s equally ridiculous that I need 500 badges and a full pvp map to get a legendary skin for a weapon.

They quickly need to realise that some of their customers live on the other side of the planet. Some have a job, a family, responsibilities… Missing a major event is one thing, but rewarding a one-time event with items that give huge advantages in parts of the game is simply not done. Grinding 200g to buy a precursor or getting it for free because you were lucky enough to participate is what I call a huge advantage.
Very poor event management and extremely crappy planning.
