Can someone explain to me how to perform a triple blink, please?
Edit: nevermind, I just figured it out. However, I did hear someone boasting about a quadruple blink. Is that even possible?

Seriously, I’m not attempting this encounter until they fix it. With the gliding issue and the boss breaking and the rifts floating in mid-air, this is not doable and more than just a little frustrating.
Seriously, you need Nuhoch Proving (rank 5) in order to do the Nuhoch Wallows Hero Point challenge and thus complete the map (Verdant Brink)?!
Wow …
I mean, I get it why they would resort to gating in the case you guys were discussing above, but this is a “starter” HoT map, there’s no reason to lock it down with a rank 5.
Oh well.

I’d just like everyone who played the original Guild Wars to reflect on the expansions for that game, specifically the content-to-price ratio of those expansions. Each gave us a whole new continent-worth of new maps (including new PVP continent), 2 new professions, an extra character slot, and they each cost about 30 units, either USD or EUR.
It’s not the content that HoT is supposed to bring, it’s just that the price is a bit too steep for my taste, and I can understand why everyone seems to be upset right now.
In that light, the “if you don’t like it don’t buy it” is simply poor reasoning.
Do any members of your guild do the dungeon runs the old-fashioned way? With this I mean no speed-clears/runs.
I’m asking because, although I’m a seasoned player myself, I have a friend who started not long ago and would really love to try some dungeoning, but was quite repelled by the fact that everyone was simply rushing through the dungeons, skipping everything he was hoping to learn and absorb.
Thank you for you answer, see you around.
I’m an experienced all-around player with several level 80 characters that just wants to have some fun. That’s why I’m looking for a guild of similar persuasion. I’m by no means a hardcore player but I do enjoy a challenge.
So, if your guild does dungeons and WvW regularly and has some interior structure where the main goal is for its members to have a good time, I’d love to join your ranks

Where’s the “Open All” option when you need one
There’s more than enough casual content everywhere you look in this game, really. Apart from fixing a few obvious issues with the Liadri encounter, this content should stay as is.
Say no to pampering!!
First of all, let me just say I’m an engineer enthusiast who loves to play this awesome class. I brought it to level 80 a few months ago and then went to try another profession. Now I’d like to pick up where I left off.
Secondly, I love bombs and grenades. So, my question is whether bomb/grenade builds are still viable today and if it’s possible to make a solid combo with the HGH trait line. Basically, I’d like my engineer to have around or over 3k attack , decent survivability, and some mobility. The build would be used mainly to run dungeons and occasional WvW.
I’m currently wearing the exotic karma armor with 4 p/t/cd pieces and 4 p/t/v pieces. Trinkets are all Knight’s. See the picture for details.
I’d appreciate any suggestions whatsoever. Thank you.
My suggestion to you is that you try and enjoy/explore the game as much as you can. There’s going to be plenty of time for farming later, trust me.
Sure, I’m up for it.
What I’m hoping to get out of this is a decent and friendly guild
Gated content goes against everything that made GW1 good. I don’t care how you try to implement it.
Well, since gated content is here anyway, it should be Anet’s priority to make it feel as fair as possible for the entire community.
Players will eventually fall behind, not to mention the stream of new players pouring in. They HAVE to be accommodated for, otherwise the mechanic of finding a suitable group will deter players from playing what’s otherwise a very enjoyable dungeon experience.
