GS to ele for balance? OMG! A caster in light armor, prefer CC and range combat.
Any way, the ele’s elite skill to summon that gigantic sword should be removed and place something more “caster” kind skill.

Its like to make ranger able to wear heavy gear for balance , )

hahah this is funny! Infamous Helba should be the case, that ele is not a crap class? Dude, who play pvp games are know your name.
Now show a vid where you play a guardian, thief, mesmer or warrior vs an ele , )

You know its simple, all of as has the same game copy, so when we create a thief class we have exactly the same experience with the class like you do.. we know the combos (its not a skill to know them, they are on wiki) and we use the same gear like you do, and we won 1v2, 1v3…
So maybe thats way a strange legend spreading around that Thief is op , )

So how I see the thread, its quite hard to pve and pvp by an ele, nearly impossible to solo, but its ok.. lol : P
Way some ppl think, that just they have the rights to try all classes in this game? All of us made rounds in pvp and in pve as well with all classes and its not a secret how its like when you switch to ele.. pve slows down and you should investigate 100 times more energy to stay alive in pvp.

elchulo, we play the same game, so we all have an OP thief : D Just some of us wanna get a little balance for ele and play with here as well , )

I see some numbers in the thread, but its more about skills (gaming tools)
light armor – so you need a tool to survive

thief – have a combo, that he can use “hide” nearly after every even attack
mesmer – makes a bunch of clones, till he goes invis.

Anet really needs to address this.

I play all the classes, I played around 250 hour of GW2 and I’m 100% agree with the op : )
Anet, a fix maybe??

All class has advantage, but some of them are easier to control for an average pvp/pve combat. Thief is one of them :
- Withdraw for dodge when heal + break stun, Signet of Shadows for speed (passive), Roll for initiative for break stun if Withdraw is on cool-down and get initiative, Infiltrators Signet for get initiative and break stun if other 2 skill on cool-down.
- Use dagger + pistol for Black powder + Heart seeker combo and keep first skill auto-attack on.
- Traits : trickery for initiative, Critical Strikes for last skill – Hidden Killers

So you will have a char that you can use like :
- you have to use just 2 buttons, the black powder + heart seeker. After the combo your auto attack will do the work, if there cooldown went down, use the combo again.
The combo gives stealth, so you will always critic after it + get initiative + blind (trait)
If you get dps’ed use your heal for hp and roll back. If you stun, use one of your 3 skill for it. And push dodge after every combo+ auto attack for blind and then use the combo again.

Extremely simple, compared to an ele for example , )

(warrior is the same "2 klick class, guardian is more complex, but nearly all of his skills gives Retaliation, ranger’s axe + axe using Whirling Defense is OP but you should land it and if the opponent dodge, you suck and his pet control is bad, till you can’t use just the pets first skill by manually – fail, engineer I never tried, but my friend use it and its quite ok, but not that simple like thief or warrior, with mesmer you should practice a lot to handle it well – same with necro and finally ELE is the most complex class with uber bad defense and extremely hard to handle it well compared to other classes)
