I haven’t had so much fun with a boss fight for a long time. I just did the Golem and Tequatl and it was ooooh my gosh.
At Tequatl playing as an elementalist I was able fitting in all roles. I repaired the turrets, I defended them, I used them to cut down Tequatls armor and even stepped in at melee range.
It will take a little while to coordinate players in this fight, but then it will be fun for all. Please dont nerf it, it is the best fight in the game so far!

GW2 really needs a higher FOV, this would improve almost everything from immersion to gameplay. No content patch could improve the game as much as a FOV change (beside a full-sized addon, which would suffer from FOV itself). FOV should be first priority, then overall camera behavior. More content doesnt help preventing gameplay from not feeling as intuitive as it should by standard.
Simply add a race-specific portal stone to the inventory of every character.
Using it would allow you to quick-travel to your character’s capital without costs.
Everyone would travel to his or her capital instead of overcrowding Lions Arch.
Lions Arch itself wont be abandoned because of its dungeon traders and fractals.
Problem solved? :o

The Horizontal and Vertical FoV affect the same Fov, each works with different numbers, though. so you ARE changing the Horizontal… Hard to explain.

Please, devs. I am a huge fan of this games landscape design and overall look. Every second i play Guild Wars 2 i am sad not being able to enjoy the scenery as a whole, instead watching at an almost plain looking, not in-depth-going picture. Give it a try and let the players decide if they want higher FoV numbers or not. Surprise us and give away hugs in form of a FoV-Slider. For everyone.
