This Condi-Elite is still better for a power build than Lich Form.
Pulsing Slow, Cripple, Corrupt, Might… all pretty helpful in a power build. Esp. Slow improves sustain in melee considering Power Scourge has to run Dagger for that purpose.
I think it’s even better than Chilled to the Bone in most scenarios.
There is a difference between a Power based Skill and a skill that can be used for a Power build.
You don’t get the point. Arguments are made on the basis of what skills we got from ANet. And if Ghastly Breach works better in a power build than all the other power elites it’s pretty nonsensical to say the skill is not suitable for a power build just because it applies conditions.
It’s clearly a hybrid elite skill that outperforms all existent power elite skills in many scenarios.
Reaper and Scourge are both designed for power and condi usage. There is no condi elite spec and power elite spec – there is just power creep.

For what we know for sure and it was stated just above… ANet stated the Scourge to be conditions + support based. Therefore the Elite skill should be… Ho well again However you like.

1. It used to corupt enemy boon into conditions. It doesnt cure your own conditions in any way. Probably reading error from you.
Also the heal ammount is low level trash, its always but was worth it for offensive corrupts. It is nowhere near of a defensive monster like warrior healsig
Even if?:
Spiteful Renewal: This trait now triggers when you use a healing skill instead of when striking a low-health foe. ?
In short term this talent is not working if using Signet of Vampirism
Forget everything you just build on that site…

I won’t be abble to play my necro before this weekend and therefore cannot see the real impact of this patch from my eyes.
I just looked at it and someting came to my mind about a pvp build that could maybe suit to survive a bit after those changes.
Please pay attention that many talents / skill on gw2skills are note up to date. Refer to patch note to understand those points.
Main questions:
1. Signet of Vampirism + Signets of Suffering + Spitful Renewal = Nice heal with conditions removal?
2. According to point 1, Signet of Vampirism passiv => Remove conditions also when stuck?
3. What about combo: Spectral Grasp => Swap to Greatsword => DPS with Greatsword / Reaper ?
Again this is just a base idea for a PVP build to suit from now til PoF.

Spectral Grasp: This skill now fires at the necromancer’s original target and up to 4 other enemies within a 1,200 range. Increased the recharge from 20 seconds to 50 seconds. This skill has been unsplit from PvP and now functions the same in all game modes.
What are peoples thoughts on the new Spectral Grasp? I think looks really interesting, but that new cooldown is too much to make it worth the slot. Anyone else?
I think the recharge time is mainly to nerf before launch of PoF Oppressive Collapse (S5 Torch).
Imagine: Spectral Grasp => Oppressive Collapse => Harrowing Wave (S4 Torch) => Well of Suffering or any other AOE.

First of all very nice videos and very well played Necro!
Haven’t play GW2 since almost 3 years because of the Necro play style that wasn’t how I wanted to be.
Your videos and play style changed my mind and I returned and bought HOT yesterday.
By the old days, the Necro i used was the Terrormancer with full Rabid gear.
Lot of things have change now I can see (use of GS etc.). Just a question relating to your gear, any particular reason your nor going full viper? espacially on the “ring” “earing” and “back”.
