Screenshots, How to?

Well since you’re using a mac, I would highly suggest using the mac’s convenient screen shot feature (which can be used during any other app as well). Press “Shift Command 4”, and you should get some crosshairs. Stretch the crosshairs over the image you’d like to take a screenshot of, and done! The screenshot will appear on your desktop.

If, at any time, you want to cancel a screenshot (you pressed shift command 4, but want to cancel the crosshairs) simply click once on a single area (in other words, DO NOT STRETCH) and your crosshairs will become a mouse cursor again.

What's the difference between beta and game?

I’ve seen a post where people are asking ArenaNet to transition the mac beta to the mac actual game. I was just wondering, what is the difference between the current mac beta (that we have) and the actual game (that we’ll hopefully get in the near future)? Are there certain features in the actual game not present in the mac beta? Are there locations that aren’t in the mac beta?

Also, will our stats, achievements, items, progress, etc. from mac beta transfer over to the actual mac game once it’s available?

Thanks for replying.

Lets get this out of beta.

First of all, I just started playing the mac beta today, and I have had pretty much no problems at all. However, an update to the beta to make it more towards the actual game for mac would be awesome!

Launcher loading incredible slow

I’m having a similar issue where the launcher is loading incredibly slowly for me. As in, I’m downloading about 8% every hour.

I should note that this is my very first attempt trying to play Guild Wars 2 EVER. So is this normal that the game takes overnight to load the first time playing?

I am using a macbook pro 13" mid 2012 laptop. I have an i7 processor, 750GB Hard Drive, and 8 GB RAM.

I have Mac OSX 10.8.2
