Hello,

Under the “Security” tab in account settings is the following:

“Trusting Computers
You can choose to mark a computer as Trusted, in which case you won’t be prompted to enter a code when you sign in from that computer. If you choose not to trust a computer, you will have to enter a code every time you sign in.”

How do you do this please?
I have checked all of “My Account” setting and I can not find anywhere to do this.
Thank you

Disabilities And The New Content

Thank you to all who have taken the time to reply to my rant.

I have found someone to run around with and I really appreciate all the offers of help.

After re-reading my original statement, and all the responses, I can see that I was “whining” a little. This was not my intent, but it is what it is. I should of taken a little more time before I posted this. Thanks again for pointing this out.

Disabilities And The New Content

Since I have a minor disability that limits my playing the game, I will generally just log out of the game and come back later. But right now I just need to vent a little.
Please refer to the post below that I started 1-6-2015.

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Having-a-disability-and-the-new-dailies

The new content is just too hard for someone like me. I know Anet can not make the game easier for someone in my situation as it needs to be challenging if it is going hold most peoples interest. My complaint is that I see the game slipping away from me as time goes by. I still have problems with the dailies and I can not even start the new content. For example, I have tried “Taimis Game” and I could only last 3 or 4 minutes before I had to start over. Now, today my hands are a little worse than normal, but even on my best days I do not think I could go anywhere toward finishing the story.

I have owned the game since release and I still have not been thru a dungeon. As a matter of fact, the only thing I have accomplished is getting the glider ability in HOT. I have tried to join a group, but this always ends in disaster. I will unintentionally agro an enemy or not be able to perform my fair share in the game. I am tired of being called an “$*&?@” because I mess up, so I play the game alone and I do enjoy exploring/farming, but I would love to see something “new” after all these years.

I have seen a few references in this forum concerning a Hard/Easy mode for this game, but I still do now understand why this is not possible. This would solve the problem for people like me. Anet could scale the rewards down for the easy mode to be fair.

As I stated above, I am just venting and I really do not want to start a “why I have Anet” thread as I really do appreciate the game, but I am saddened that I am slowly losing it.

Thank you everyone who took their time to respond to my statement. The fact alone that so many people responded has made the game more enjoyable for me. I am truly humbled by the response.

I really never expected Anet to respond as I felt that my circumstance was an “unusual case” as Gaile has stated, and I am impressed that they are even considering bringing this up to the development team. In my opinion, this is rare in any company today and I plan on letting a few of my friends who play that “other game” know this.

To be more specific, my problem is that some days my hands just do not work correctly. I think I am pressing the mouse button, but I am not. Other times I press the buttons without realizing that I am doing this. This is why I generally do not game with others. I do not want to “mess up” an attack by initiating it too soon for example. This has happened more than once for me and I know how annoying it can be for the serious gamer. The “easy” dailies gave me a sense of accomplishment since I play the game alone and I should have been more specific in my original post.

I have gone through all the responses again and I have a list of things that I am going to try. Although I do not fully understand all of them, I know that they will help and I am doing my research on some of them now.

Again, thank you Gaile and everyone who had a response/suggestion for me.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I only do PvE as the others are too difficult for me. I will try to look into PvP and WvW again though and give it another try.

I have neuropathy in both hands from chemo. Consequently I do not do well in combat at times due to my hands not working as I want them to. Jumping puzzles generally end in frustration for me.
What I do like is just wondering around, getting in a few fights, clearing an area of it’s resources, and completing the dailies.

With the new system, there are a lot of days that I can only complete 1 or 2 of the dailies. Yes, I do realize that Anet can not please everyone, but this has been very frustrating for me. The game that I use to look forward to playing is now disappearing before my eyes.

It seems to me that if Anet added a few more dailies that this could solve the problem for the people with disabilities like me. The harder dailies would still be there for the people who want more of a challenge.

If you think I am being selfish, or agree with me, please tell me your opinion.
