So it is.. but if I remember correctly, they announced the commendation vendor coming into the game via an in game email, it’s not that unreasonable to think they would announce the reverse in the same manner.

I usually do scan through the patch notes and didn’t see it. Taking out a game feature, should be at the top of the list or deserve a special mention.
I also listen to two different guild wars podcasts and neither of them mentioned it.
You want less spam? yeah the 5-10 total in game messages they’ve sent us, have been so burdensome.

I am also someone that never comes to the forums. Why would they do that and not send out a message in game “The lionguard almost has enough materials and will be shipping off soon” etc. The send us email about new events all the time, why not notify us in the same manner when it is ending?
