Issues with character art, weapons, or armor?

Race: Human
Sex: Male
Profession: Mesmer
Armor Set: Feathered and Chronomancer’s Epaulets
Weapon: Opulent Defender and most shields

Description: Almost every shield I find gets clipped by the cuffs on the feathered chest piece. the Chronomancer’s Epaulets clip with larger shields too but that’s seems unavoidable. If you could make it so shield were placed a little further away from the arm when wearing the feathered armor that would be awesome since the clipping from that is occurring on almost all the shields i preview. Thanks.

Weird Movement Lag

So unless Anet did something today, which is unlikely considering it’s still the weekend, I think I found a fix. I took a look at my activity monitor and saw a bunch of cider processes running, which I thought was odd. I restarted my computer, (I didn’t want to just force quite the cider processes just incase they were actually supposed to be running) the cider processes were gone, and I have no more movement lag. I’m not 100% sure that’s what it was but it’s my best guess. Must have been some left over processes from crashes or previous times I ran the client. Hopefully that works for you too!

Weird Movement Lag

Not sure what else to call it other than weird movement lag. It happens every minute or so. My toon stops responding for a few seconds. The character keeps moving in whatever direction it was before the lag starts and I’ll be unable to stop, turn, evade, move the camera, or do anything really. It started a few days after HoT launch but happened very rarely. The frequency keeps increasing though. The game is becoming unplayable at this point.
Any ideas on what’s causing it or anything I can do to fix or lessen it? I’ve already tried lowering the graphics to as low as possible and that doesn’t seem to change the frequency at all. Oh and before anyone suggests the 64bit client, I’m on a mac.

I think the reason they decreased the condi duration for lingering curses is because of the addition of torment to feast of corruption. 7 stacks of torment with that kind of duration would be brutal.

Fear has the same issue with the breakbar. I wish it would work like it does with defiance where the cc side of it will be blocked but the condition still applies. That way, terror traits can still do damage.

For a few weeks now I’ve been unable to see the explosions on the final ramp in the cliffside fractal. I’m on a mac and it started around the 7/28/15 patch so I figured it was just from the other graphics problems macs were having with the patch. Those have been fixed but this one persists so I’m not sure if it’s a bug or something with my system.

I’ve tried messing with all the graphics settings already and that didn’t change anything. Every once in a while if I wait long enough they’ll show up for a few seconds and then stop displaying again. I’d love to hear if anyone else is experiencing this or if there is a fix. Would be nice if I didn’t have to use a party member as a seeing eye dog to finish the fractal lol. Thanks!
