It’s a minor but frustrating thing, but you know how in the hero panel when you look at outfits, minis, finishers, mail carriers and glider skins, it shows which ones are available to purchase with a little green exclamation mark on the corner? Well it’s gone on my account and I have no idea why or how to fix it, but I want it back, it was such a nice QOL thing to just be able to quickly preview and also see what is or isn’t available. It’s still there on my SO’s account, and I don’t think I did anything to change it on my account but I’m not really sure. If anyone knows what the deal is and knows how to fix it I’d really appreciate it. I wasn’t sure if it was a bug or an option so I thought I’d ask first before treating it as a bug and submitting a bug report.
I’m referring to mutual friends, not followers. Nothing stops people from following you, but it’s down to you in the end whether or not you actually add them back. They can’t force you to friend them. I wouldn’t want a system where people can add you and instantly spam you with messages. No, definitely need to be mutual friends before limits are changed.
Oh, and to further explain how I was suppressed after one mail – I screwed up and didn’t have a recipient the first time I tried to send the first mail. Sent it the second try, then couldn’t send another one. I attempted two mails, I only actually sent one, I was suppressed.
I was actually just suppressed after sending ONE mail. ONE. To someone who has been on my friends list for YEARS.
Is it really too much to ask that messaging not be suppressed when sending mail to friends or guildies? At the very least increase the amount of mails you can send before you’re suppressed! I don’t understand how to this day this is still an issue. It’s incredibly frustrating.
I understand the reasoning behind having the limit for strangers (ie. people not in my guild or on my friends list) but it makes no sense to me that I can’t send several mails to people I know, or vice versa.
TLDR:
Problem: Messaging suppressed after ONE mail to a friend.
Suggested Fix: Remove limit for friends and guildies.
I’ve just come back to the game since quitting around the time HoT came out, and I noticed something in my achievements that is somewhat bothersome to me.
The achievement ‘Active Guild Member’ is still listed under community, and I’m close to 10,000 influence, so it is showing up in my ‘nearly completed’ achievements. Since favour doesn’t count towards it, and it hasn’t been retired, I can’t do anything about it and it’s slightly frustrating to be constantly reminded of that.
I do realise this is minor, but it does bother me a little that it has just been left there for so long since influence/favour was updated so long ago at this point (about a year?). I’d like for it to be fixed in some way; please retire the achievement and create a new achievement that counts favour or update it so that favour counts for it. Personally I’d prefer the second option because I’m a little salty that I’d be missing out on 10 AP by such a small margin :P
Like I said, I know it’s a very minor thing, and it’s definitely not high priority or anything, but I’d like to see it fixed at some point eventually.
