The average age of today’s gamer is 35. That being said, most people at 35 don’t have a whole day to waste just trying to get across a map in order for them to get to a point where they can do what they set out to do; play the game.
If I’ve read everything, and done the proper conversions, Mad King should be going live in about 30 mins.
It’s 22:31 GMT. Off by an hour
Maybe I’m confused. According to http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/central-time/convert/ 22:31 was an hour and a half ago.
The only reason why SWTOR merged servers is because they killed off their own game by having too many initial servers, then a week after launch added even more. My server was dead (literally not figuratively) a month before they merged. Doing a /who of the server revealed that there were less than 10 people on the entire server at any given time.
Is this a problem in GW2? Maybe not to the same extent. But it might be a problem. I’ve seen people complaining they can’t find people willing to do dungeons in the morning hours. Could that be because of population? Or could it be because people just aren’t home? It’s hard to tell. If people are having issues getting groups in the evening, then I’m willing to admit that there’s a problem. But I haven’t seen that on my server.

I was in a dungeon the other day and a member of the party asked “Are there damage counters for this game yet?” It made me cringe. I have bad memories of other games where it was a game of watching counters, instead of playing and enjoying the game. From personal experience, I hope that Anet doesn’t allow this type of modding to happen.
I couldn’t stand GW1. I think they made the right changes and from what I hear, they listened to their players on what changes they wanted to see.
I believe you’ll need one of the Fine Transmutation Stones, since the regular ones only go up to lvl 79 armor (if my memory serves me correctly).
This is right.
