Two hours in CS and I have gotten 28 dyes, including two rares (cobalt and midnight ice). Seems to be dropping at significantly higher rates than before.
I opened three and got the shield skin. The game owed it to me because of all the rares and exotics I have thrown away in the hopes of a legendary precursor.
Congrats, have fun crafting!
Phew, didn’t even know about that and just crafted one for myself yesterday. Looks right:
Damage: 986-1205
+179 Power
+128 Precision
+9% Critical Damage
Sigil of Superior Blood
Lvl 80
The stats page does not show all bonuses, the Blademaster trait is one that is not displayed there for some reason.
Pretty kitten cool to give it away, even though it sucks that you don’t feel like playing any longer..
Cheers!
ps: kitten you, gw2! thanks to your chat tags i can’t hide that i have played the game in german
You can rename chat tabs by clicking on the title
Just remember that dyes are per character so that if you plan to play with multiple characters you need to unlock the dye for each separately. There is no way to see if the dye is unlocked on all of your characters.
Currently on TC these DEs are almost useless for casual players. Engineer and Ranger hordes have a lot of the spawn points camped out so that the mobs go down before they are even rendered in a lot of the cases. You see a lot of players constantly auto attacking at the camp defense DEs trying to score enough hits to tag the mob. It’s really pretty silly looking at this point.
Farm Orr DEs, then use the mystic forge to convert T5 dust piles to T6 dust if anything else fails.
I’m usually running with close to max MF (all armor with runes and trinkets, weapon with luck rune and food/boost/banner up during farming). So far I have gotten two exotic drops in 250 hours of play time. So they do drop, but they are really rare.
TC is pretty nice server, though like everywhere else some maps are completely desolate at this point. There are just too many low to mid level maps to populate. Once you reach the end game, CS is always packed with folks willing to help you though.
For me the hands down best combination is a direct damage spec sword/warhorn and axe/axe warrior. Basically you use warhorn for constant swiftness to move between events and reach mobs (including using savage leap constantly) and then mowing through mobs with whirling axe and cyclone axe.
Nerfing respawn rates would mostly affect botters who run in circles killing the same mobs over and over again. Unfortunately, ArenaNet has no interest in reducing the effectiveness of botting (after all if they let a bot to be profitable before banning it, then the next week the botter is going to buy two new accounts for bots, then four, etc. providing constant revenue for ArenaNet as opposed to players who only pay for one account).
Yeah, unfortunately the fixes haven’t actually fixed any of the issues. The skill points and stuck events work for a short period after a server restart but soon get broken again. What we apparently need to do is maintain a list of things to do and then rush through them soon after the servers are restarted.
