Burr thanks so much for the input!! I am rank 42 in spvp though so I know how it goes with both builds. I a sneaky mcsneaker when it comes to kill shot so getting it off isn’t a problem. I am making it in general for wvw/pvp/pve!!

For kill shot would 20/30/0/0/20 with runes of the scholar 25 of bloodlust full zerker armor/trinket and fire aoe proc do more damage OR

10/30/0/10/20 with same armor/trinkets/sigils but running the empowered trait under the tactics line. amounting to +6% damage from fury swiftness and might from signet of rage. this + berserk power from power line giving the warrior +12% damage + 10% from runes of scholar + 10% from “On my Mark”

any input would be really helpful. trying to figure out max kill shot damage

It honestly baffles and concerns me how you can accidentally ban accounts “humanly” that had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with something that is so obviously a cheat. Quit trying to cover your kitten butts and be real.

Just speaking to my guildie about this right now and we’re both feeling very uncomfortable with this situation. Not knowing what’s going on and why people were banned in the first place just leaves the rest of us in the dark leading to the point where you don’t know what you can and can’t do. For now, we’re thinking to just stick with dailies and dungeon runs.

Would farming a very profitable place be considered an exploit? Or grinding the same area for hours just because you CAN be considered “botting”? I am personally putting down a lot of time grinding for my first legendary, so how am I now supposed to feel safe about doing just what the game offers me?

I understand that you and other player are expressed concerns about this. I want to put your mind at ease.

• We don’t ban without review.
• We’re gamers too, and some of us are really into farming. Farming a rich area doesn’t make you a botter or an exploiter. Now, naturally, Botters and exploiters can farm a rich area right alongside the legitimate player, but we do understand the distinction.
• If someone is banned (account terminated) or even suspended, they can appeal and the team will review the situation yet again.
• If we make an error, we are not afraid to say it, and we do not hesitate to reinstate an account that is suspended or terminated in error.

This sets me at ease I suppose. Just because what ever this bug was there was no way I could have performed. For the passed two weeks I’ve been leveling my OP warrior. Also, My guild leader has been banned for almost two days now. I’ve been playing with him since launch. Doing dungeons, grinding events, etc. It’s really a problem that he is not online because it interrupts our core groups activities. I.E. Dungeon running, wvw, etc. So if you could please quicken the pace of your “intense research” that’d be grand.

We closed a serious but not-widespread exploit, and banned those accounts that performed it and those that received or stored the wealth they generated.

While performing the bans, we made a mistake and additionally banned some unrelated accounts. We identified the mistake and unbanned those accounts.

For those still banned, if you wish to appeal, you may submit a support ticket and the team will examine your case.

I am still banned, I submitted a ticket but appeal to what exactly? All the interactions I have are between my guildies and me who I have been playing with for a while now. Please review and check all the logs of my account and you’ll see.

Been playing with these guys since launch. Pretty much all we do is run dungeons all day for 10+ hours a day. Don’t think that’s an exploit.

I am being patient and all. But I am still a very unhappy customer. I want an explanation. I lost a lot of play time and had a dungeon interrupted of which I do a two part series each night. While it may not seem like a big deal it actually is. Its part of a daily grind that contributes to my next legendary. So [insert] explanation here Arenanet.

I was in fractal 30 and kicked out of game then told I was banned for inexcusable behavior. I am pretty much the sweetest sweet heart in that game. Sometimes i voice my opinion but never am I inappropriate about it.

It says something about an exploit which is impossible because I know not one exploit unless you consider cof path 1 speed run exploit which is really unfair…

Agree to all. The model is so great it just needs some really awesome effect to enhance its great look. I like the weather ideas people keep suggesting. While clouds would be cool I think it would be rather boring for something nearly named after a weatherman. Should include a little bit of every weather condition. Rain, Snow, Thunder (XD), wind :O… Go nuts Anet.

Yeah… I just wish it had a little something extra like most others.. I agree though the model is probably one of the best.

I think the model is wicked awesome. To be honest, though, there is nothing really “legendary” about it. It just doesn’t stand out. Yeah it’s huge but it just looks like a regular crafted weapon. No sound effects, No aura, No foot-fall. I love the dang thing I just want it to have some awesomely cool effect. NOW. ANET. Don’t be trolls and add some corny pony shooting effect. I am not disrespecting the artist— I think they did a great job. I just think it would be fair to add a foot-fall or an aura and sound effect too if you’re feeling generous. I worked extremely hard for this weapon ( six months almost as long as you intended them to take with no hardcore grinding just slow and gradual progression.) I’d just like to be standing in Lion’s Arch and for people to admire the weapon and stand out as ANET has intended the legendary weapons to do. Cause honestly the other day someone saide nice focus.. (chalice of the gods) instead of nice scepter. T.T Please its been so long and you’ve updated legendaries that didn’t even need updating and have forgotten about the ones that could use some loving.

I suppose this will never be fixed, but I had storm in my invisible bag went to go sell my junk to get ready to make my legendary and yeah… no storm. I had to buy it again off the TP for exactly 215g. Now I have less than 100 gold left. This is awful and I feel an incredible huge hole in my wallet. If there is any way to reset my bags or Idk. I guess this is stupid and I’ll just have to carry on, but yeah just so you know i guess. Should make it to where when u equip weapons both main hand and off hand go to your invisible bag. because in this case a really messy most likely unfix-able thing happened.

I’ve played GW2 Xcore since launch. A couple of months ago I got into the spvp scene. It began with a bunch of hot-joins which honestly is loads of fun. I know a lot of people complain about zergs, but really a good counter is to just back-cap the team and avoid the large group of killbots!

Anyway, recently I got into tournaments. At first I hot joined free tournaments which was an absolute nightmare. It became clear that the majority of the teams I was facing were practiced or at least had a method worked out. After a while I got to know a few good players and was fortunate enough to team with them for some matches.

The matches were a toss up, but it was nice to see a win every once and again. Eventually, I met some people who were serious about getting a good team going so that we can actually compete on a higher level. This soon failed because the leader was kitten mad at how much we were losing even though we had a strategy/vent|teamspeak/ and good players.

I tried to explain that the majority of the teams we were going up against are practiced and have been doing tournies for a lot longer than we have, but it resulted in the leader dis-banning the team/guild and everything. It really sucked, tbh. :\

I was really looking forward to getting into the more competitive scene of spvp but like many have stated the barrier was just too big. People aren’t making things seem bad by saying most people rage quit because, honestly, they do. And just to add, all the players were experienced pvpers from gw1 and 2.

So, basically I’m a super hardcore pvper and I can say that there are no teams because the time it takes to get good just isn’t worth it. Most people aren’t willing to practice for X amount of hours for practically nothing but worthless bragging rights – bragging rights to an ever shrinking pvp community><!

Honestly, if I could get my guildmates who pretty much only pve and have not touched pvp at all, to get in there and do as many matches/touneies as we have done dungeons— I know we would be a pretty mean team. But alas rewards for pvp are purely cosmetic and unfortunately limited to pvp therefore I’m left to group with a gang of guys who do tournies every so often and do alright but eventually run into a group where I am greeted as a “friend” and then get smashed because my team is not practiced enough and we just can’t keep up with the rotations.

Just to add a possible solution… I think there needs to be more incentive of course. But really trying to attract casual players is not going to do much. Those who pve are going to continue to pve and those who pvp will continue to pvp. What aNET should do is actually make PvP fun and interesting for those already involved in the pvp community. Surely they can do this without denying prospective PvPers, but when it comes down to it pvp will always be a veteran game. However, if they do a good job of building their pvp system they’ll find people will be willing to spend time getting good. They can do this by doing simple things like adding more variety for possible profession class builds(it’s really a shame with all the available traits/skills to professions that there are on average 1 or 2 good weapon/build sets that run well in sPvP), more simple pvp features already implemented in many other MMOs including GW1, and add more modes for pete’s sake, and of course being aggressive about balance issues. Right now, PvP is just plain boring after a while. Same meta, same mode, same mocha idk. Do something aNet and don’t be like other MMOs and throw the PvP community a bone while the PvE community gets 99.9% of the new content.

Actually i wasn’t kidding. Please show me guardian build that use staff as primary weapon in a dungeon. I would rather have Shout Warrior in my party healing with shouts, great dps and constant might.

Jade, you’re a complete goof ball if you’d rather a Warrior support you over a support Guardian. Enough said.

As stated in a previous thread, this sigil is still bugged despite the recent patch. I have almost 60% crit and yet it still doesn’t proc. This is rather annoying since there are few sigils that bolster support builds. Please fix ASAP.

Also add a buy-able item that unbinds an item to a toon. That’d be awesome!

All I’m saying is Darmikau has a good point about price manipulation. To watch the TP and see that a minute ago there were 9 Dawns posted at 330g per sword and then the next minute see them all off the market and reintroduced at an overly inflated cost is a little disheartening.

I’m legitimately 99% done with crafting my legendary. The last component I need is the precursor. About a week and a half ago, there were ~10 legends on the TP for an upwards amount of 300+g. Over the passed couple of weeks the supply went down to just a few and went upwards to 400g+. Now, magically, there are 10+ The Legends all priced at over 400g. Call me crazy or a conspirator, but I think something is up.

I understand there is a precursor scavenger hunt on it’s way. But in the mean time is ANET really gonna just sit back and watch other players be exploited for gold that’s ultimately gonna be sold online for an upwards of 50+$ to players who will need that much more gold to buy precursors and other legendary crafting parts. This is just kitten.

Honestly, I would have preferred for the Nov. event to not happen. All it did was, as someone had already stated in this thread, provide a shock to the TP system. Now things are back to where they were and much, much worse.

So, I have one solution/suggestion/plea: increase the drop rate of precursors. ASAP, like Monday maintenance ASAP. I don’t feel like waiting until February’s patch to craft something that’s been in the works since October. Do what ever you have to do. Make them soulbound, account bound, kitten bound. IDC. I would just like a reasonably way to obtain the last piece to this legendary puzzle.

And honestly – as sad as it is.. the TP is the only viable way to obtain most of the components needed to craft the legendary weapon. And the TP’s cheating :\

The fractals dungeon is so game breaking it’s not even funny. Let’s create a dungeon that has infinite levels. Who ever though of that, seriously, needs to be fired. They should be thought of as spies from blizzard bent on destroying what good this game has.

The incentive for the dungeon is great – shiny new gear that is better than any other gear in the game. However, acquiring suitable gear for your build is almost half as hard as finding a team to do the stupid dungeon.

And how dare you recommend I go to a third party site? Are you going to be responsible for my account should anything happen via hackers? Didn’t think so. Honestly you should be fired for sticky noting this as a solution.

This whole level system is a SERIOUS problem and needs to be addressed ASAP.

Hey, thanks for replying. I am using it in both weapons. But before I had it in just one weapon and it still rarely proc’d. I swear I’ve seen it go off once. I am hearing this complaint from a lot of people as well.

Just put these in my weapons a couple of days ago and it seems to not be working. I have a decent critical hit chance and yet I’ve seen it go off all of about two times. Please tell me this is a bug or else this sigil is not worth it.
