I think it would (also) be helpful (if they are, in fact, redeemed before those of us who actually got the card with the code could do so) is if Anet would look at the IPs and DATES of when previously redeemed. I mean if the IP is in China… or the date is PRIOR to the event day/time, that would kind of tell them something. :P

I can send an image of the card and a photo of me at the event so… it isn’t like I’m lying. :-\ … nor are the rest of you on this thread.

This is stupid. This website gave out TWO codes AND the pocket watch for free to whoever they deemed most worthy in their comments section. How are we supposed to get Mr. Sparkles if we don’t even hear about these competitions until they are over? Even google searching for Mr. Sparkles didn’t yield any competitions.

This competition went from Aug. 28-30th. 2 measly days!

I went to the Guild Wars 2 Anniversary Bash in Seattle and got a code for a Mr. Sparkles mini pet as a gift for coming. So did about 200 other folks that were there.

Did your code work? Mine didn’t.

Same issue here; excitedly entered my code and it said it couldn’t be redeemed. Really hope Anet can fix this issue!

I was feeling bad about getting no drops during the repetitive battle, but the end loot was good. However, now I’m not even being pleased with my loot because I watched the end of my BF’s overflow finish up… and he ended up not getting loot. He was at the tail end of his group and got overrun with karka before reaching the bottom for the final fight. He paid to respawn at the waypoint and ran all the way down to the chest. He said “yay, chest is still there”… then, I watched with him as it disappeared just as he got there. I feel bad that he wasted 2 and half hours and about 10 silver in respawn and armor fixes for nothing. There has to have been a better way to reward EVERYONE who put in some effort…

Resolve to do better next time? Please?
