lol omg I remember in gw1 ‘NO CHAOS GLOVES NO INVITE’ sometimes with fowsc/uwsc groups, made me laugh so much.
But yes I agree that AP is ridiculous and that “5k ap plz” usually accompanied with “FULL ZERKER” when it’s a fractals group which I just can’t handle. It’s funny that it always seems to be lowish/medium lvl fractals like 20 then 35+ noone asks for ap.
If theres someone with a low AP in your group they may well have more of a likeliness to be bad but that doesn’t mean you should kick them. It creates an ‘elite’ in dungeon/fractals community which already exists ofc but if new players can’t learn then how are they going to have the chance to get better?
I understand if people want to kick them (boo) but we all had very low AP once and were probably kicked from a group, why not give them a chance and actually let them learn to play _ dungeon path or lvl ____ fractals so they can teach others etc etc etc boop boop im out
i’m just waiting for an expansion with an elder dragon to be released then anet suprises us with something like ‘scarlets sister maroon already killed the elder dragon and now you must suffer through multiple hideously boring LS’s until she’s defeated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’
I think anet know that if they didn’t make cantha or even atleast include some canthan themed areas there would be an uproar, it seems that the majority including me favour cantha over elona and feel it’s a natural progression from Tyria as in gw1 cantha was where we first visite after Tyria. I dunno why they’d include the big door in LA (same with the gate to “elona”) if they never have/had plans to eventually include it. They would have wasted a lot of time dedicated to lore and backstory and would leave the community feeling betrayed basically (not the first time but whatevs). Also who in their right mind wouldn’t want to be a Luxon again omg because lol kurzicks
I wouldn’t mind if certain fractals/dungeons were changed so that zerk tactics like skip stack n kill don’t work, as in If some parts of fractals became more puzzle-like and incorporated mini JP’s, and mobs that HAD to be killed to open/access the next area.
mini jps/non-stacking strats like the harpy fractal?
Alot of zerk teams I find just use stability and skip all the harpies, and the jumping is literally just straightforward, if you actually had to think about where you had to jump i’d like that :P
I hope we get to see some new elder dragon or champion in LS s2 lol, i nearly screamed when you saw dragons teeth at the end of the cut scene when you killed scarlet.

Personally I think the feature patch was really great and it seems alot of us are happy with it, and I was wondering what people want/hope for next.
I don’t mean bugs/recurring content (omg Bazaar omg please make it happen) but things like new skins/armour/dungeons etc or new skills that people feel would improve the game.
Heres mine:
- More challenging underwater content: Since uw content took so long to incorporate into the game i’d love to see even a new underwater world boss/fractal that takes a decent amount of time and not 5 mins like jellyfish.
- Another open dungeon around the grounds of a castle or something (like CM but not CM because CM)
-An elite area for high end pve that its actually challenging (because fractals even at high lvls isn’t the most difficult thing) similar to the deep/uw/urgoz etc from gw1! I think everyone thought having a bigger party than normal for elite areas was cool and the different mechanics you had to utilize to accommodate the bigger and deadlier mobs.
-More armour sets that actually look decent, as in something different other than a long cloak for rangers. FoW armour looked very good for the most part in gw1, and if ascended had looked different (as in not horrible and actually nice) I think that alot more people would grind for it. Ofc ascended offers the chance for AR but not everyone plays fractals or has aspirations to play the higher lvls, why would they bother spending a big amount of money and time on ascended if it’s not a big difference in stats and doesnt look that nice?
-More weapons that have nice skins but no particle animation: this might sound silly but every weapon category has a few weapons that are very expensive to make/buy then the rest are ~10g since they have little to no animation and the skins aren’t that desirable. For example Imryldeen imo is a nice skin w/o animation and is around 6g.
- A different way to get BL chest weapon skins: omg we all know the likelihood in getting a ticket is 00000.001% and the skins are all pretty expensive, maybe something like a reward track for different sets like tormented/lovestruck, and after completion you were able to choose 1 skin of your choice?
- A dungeon/area/whatever something that eliminates full zerk teams in certain parts and requires support/healers/tanks. Also I run zerk quite a bit myself and do like SC’s so i’m not a zerk hater :P but an area that actually requires different mechanics other than skip stack n kill would be nice.
I’ve probs included something that already exists but oops who cares i’d just like to hear other peoples ideas/opinions!
