Personally, if I were going with a build of that type, I’d go with a mix of Valkyrie armor, Berserker/Beryl Jewelry and Valk/Berserker weapons.

The reason I suggest the Valkyrie variants is because the added Vitality will actually increase the amount of time you are able to stay in DS with >50% LF, and it will provide you with the added benefit of a bit more survivability.

You’d need to mix and match a bit to see what gives you the best combination of Power/Crit Chance/Crit Damage and HP. Generally I’d aim for around 25,000 health minimum (so around 650 vitality total), and then prioritize Power, then Crit Chance (up to 35-40%), then Crit Damage. Some people suggest a higher crit chance, but with Furious Demise and jumping in/out of DS, you probably don’t need that much.

I would also suggest dropping 10 points from Curses and putting them into Spite to get the added Might from Reaper’s Might. As a PvE build, you don’t really need Well of Corruption (it’s only useful in a few fights), and you can replace it with Blood is Power for added damage, bleeds and Might. I’d also remove Well of Suffering (as you don’t want to get into Melee Range), and replace it with Signet of Undeath. It will help you with faster life force generation, and you can be the hero in PvE fights where allies get downed in awkward places.

Also, don’t forget to eat your Orrian Steak Frittes and your Superior Sharpening Stones before fights (or Omnomberry Tarts if you want MF).

Sorry I don’t have better numbers for exactly which gear pieces you would want to use.

I run a Condtion/power hybrid build, and I find it does awesome in almost any scenario.

I run with full Soldier armor, with runes of Undead. My weapons alternate between Soldier stats and Carrion stats. Jewelry is a mix of Carrion and Rabid with a soldier back piece. The weapons have sigil of Battle, and the jewelry runs with Carrion jewels.

I have a 20/0/25/25/0 spec right now, with Staff and Scepter/Daggeror Dagger/Focus depending on the fight. Utility abilities alternate between Corruption and Wells with Signet on Undeath in Dungeons and Signet of the Locust in WvW and open world PVE.

I have tried running Curses and Precision, but the survivability was lacking as i had to take points out of Blood or Death.

My friends and I are looking for a new guild on the Fort Aspenwood server with active members who enjoy working together to complete WvW and PvE related content.

We are a group of married & working professionals who enjoy running groups between 7pm and 10pm EST most days of the week. We are all 30+ yrs old, and have been gaming together for years.

We have been playing since launch with an awesome group of people, however in the past few weeks we’ve seen less and less people online in our present guild, and are looking to branch out into a new group so that we can have people to play with. While we are not a hardcore group, we do pride ourselves on succeeding in the game, and have experienced most of the content available to date. We are looking for a group of people with a similar mindset to join up with.

Our current interests involve:
- Any Explorable dungeon, we do not limit ourselves to only certain paths or certain dungeons. We enjoy the act of completing the dungeons more than the specific tokens.
- Fractals of the Mists (most of us have at least one character around level 4, we’ve had a hard time coordinating groups to progress past this)
- WvWvW, a number of our guys love playing in WvW, and are always looking for more people to join with. We prefer small roaming groups rather than zergs, but will join the large pack when needed.
- sPvP is something that we have not done extensively as a team, but we are always willing to branch out into this aspect of the game.
- Open World events and Jumping Puzzles are also of interest to us.

We all have access to Mumble, TeamSpeak and Ventrillo, so we have no issue with voice comms either.

Has anyone opened many of these?

I bought 1 individually, opened it to get 1 blue quality dye and 1 yellow quality dye.

I then bought 5 together, opened all 5 to get 9 blue quality dyes and 1 green quality dyes, with no yellow quality in sight.

Has this happened to anyone else?
