The Quip III collection requires pranking the Voice of Koda at Tala Point in Snowden Drifts with a Confetti Pouch. The Voice of Koda only appears if the meta event “The Kodan Claw” has failed with Ice Raking as the leader. If the assassination event does not fail the Voice of Koda will never appear. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Kodan_Claw
After yesterday’s patch added Black Powder into the game I crafted the requisite 10 Confetti Pouches necessary to complete the Quip Tier 3 precursor collection. The first person to “prank” with a pouch is Queen Jennah, who is in the Palace instance in Divinity’s Reach. I entered the instance, and when I double clicked to equip my first Confetti Pouch I was immediately kicked back to Divinity’s Reach before being able to actually use the pouch, and then I only had 9 left. Support worked with me to get my used pouch back (they’re so expensive to make!) which was great, but I’m afraid to go back into the Palace instance to try again, because I don’t want to waste another pouch unnecessarily.
I don’t know if other players have had this issue or if I experienced a unique bug, but I thought I’d report this/check here before attempting to prank royalty once more.
Unrelated: I’ve really enjoyed the first and third tiers of Quip!
Is anyone noticing seekers moving faster since today’s patch? My group has had no issue with them the past week, but today they seemed to go much faster/
Checked today, looks to be fixed!
Quip Tier 3:
- Grawl Trickery: Defend Ulfred until he finds a location for his statue does not restart. He stays in the Grawlenfjord caves indefinitely.
- Confetti pouch: Thegren Topjaw does not sell Black Powder necessary to craft the confetti.
