I sort of agree, but one thing i wish i could just do was make the game music louder than it can go currently.

assuming youre not running other applications that use sound, a quick workaround for this could be to set the sliders for all other sounds to a lower setting, bring music and overall game volume to max, and possibly turn up the volume on your computer.
caveat: you would have to remember to turn down the volume again before doing other things with the computer.

Don’t get me wrong the massive amount of super models is nice and all but how about some diversity.

i would /love/ to be able to have fatter toons. the only ones with really good “fat” body types are male norn, and to a much lesser extent male charr, at the moment.
at the very least i want to be able to make like, female norn built like a house, with thunder thighs and a potbelly!

but that’s a tiny bit off-topic here. i would like to see more um, extreme? variety in the faces, especially for humans which mostly look very similar to me.

gimme heavy eyebrows and a large nose on human and norn women for instance!

and some more diversity in like, nose shapes especially. i mean that both in the “more options” sense and the sense of providing more faces for people of colour to choose from, there’s a lot of white european face shapes and we’re a bit over-represented i think.

i love how i’ve got all these abled people condescending at me, as though i don’t understand that “dumb” is not being used in the sense of “unable to speak” but in the sense of “stupid”. newsflash, intellectual and developmental disabilities get called “dumb” and “stupid” in real life, that is literally /why/ its awful to hear it in a game.

im also aware that asura culture is horrifically ableist and racist, that doesnt mean i should have to put up with My Individual Character saying things like that. i thought i could have an asura toon and just headcanon her as not wanting people like me dead. i was wrong, but i should have been correct; there’s no need for this particular voice clip.

as much as i love the appearance of asura- they’re so small and cute! i recently had to delete my warrior, as she periodically would say something that i cannot tolerate hearing.
i’m disabled, and it’s hard enough to deal with the lore of asura, but hearing it from the mouth of a toon i’d made with intention to headcanon her as being /against/ all that ableist nonsense…
the threat i’m talking about is “you’re dumb, you’ll die and leave a dumb corpse”. now the first time i heard her say this was after leveling her most of the way to 40, and i made the decision to just, finish leveling her to 80 then reroll as not-asura. but then i heard her say it again at level 68ish, and it caused me to have a minor panic attack.
i want this game to be, if not a safe place, at least not a place where i have to hear a death threat against people like me, from my own character. please consider removing this particular shout effect.
