Guild Wars 2

Another 4 emails today about having my password reset. I linked my phone to the app, here’s hoping for it to work….

Semester is finally over, come back to play a little, and my account is hacked, what little gold I had gone, and my character someplace other than where I left him.

Does this 2 step Authentication work? I have already changed my PW to some God aweful 21 letter/number combo.

I just don’t get it, 8 years of WoW, and never once hacked. GW2? Hacked twice now.

I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much I really enjoy the game. Having played the original GW from open beta all those years ago, and all the expansions following, this has been one great game for me to play.

the music is just fantastic i love it, sometimes I just sit there in the game and let the music play just to hear it.

the story line for my character is really cool to. I think this is the first time I have played an MMO where I actually had this.

I love to just stop and look up. There is so much to see. I was outside a main city once, and just looked up when I was outside the zone. A buddy of mine was looking at my screen one day, and he said “Wow, where are you right now? That looks awesome.” Yeah, it does look awesome.

I am having a blast with vistas also. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius.

Great game all! Thanks for all the time and obvious effort you have put into this game.

I have been thinking this over for some time now, and I would really like to see an option or command that I can type in the chat box, that would allow me to pan the camera back further than it already does.

As a player, I like to see a whole lot more than what the current camera option allows.

As an example, in WoW, i am able to enter the command
/console CameraDistanceMaxFactor 4. In that game, it allows me to really pan the camera far back for raiding and such.

I just find that the current camera is just limiting in what i like to see, and what I like to see is the whole view around my character.

i just dont get it. i dont go to strange web sites. i didnt click on anything in that email either. i either go to WoW web site, or my university web site and stuff like that. i dont just serf the net clicking on random stuff. i learned the lessons from my guild in WoW what not to do, and now im getting stuff like this email.

i run mac afee anti virus, so im hoping this will help.

jeez. im so carefull about things with my games and online activity. played WoW for years and havent been hacked yet. this one threw me off guard quick.

ok. cool. so i didnt get hacked then. do i have any options open to me other than changing my password?

what the heck just happened? did i just get hacked or something?
