History Of Pillage Your Village Guild.

Pillage Your Village [PVK] is a semi-casual guild for players who want to participate in WvW events as well as organizing Structured PvP plays and teams. The guild was created on September 10th, 2012. Since our inception, we have always tried to recruit players of all sorts who were interested in our ambitions to achieve server and world recognition as we are truly based around guerrilla warfare in WvW such as Ninja stealing camps, ganking Doylaks to deplete enemy supply lines, and even stealing towers in covert ops. This guild is made for those with the will to succeed and the ambition to play at their finest as well as to maintain a level of high fun and enjoying every aspect of Guild Wars 2. Although primarily a PvP/WvW guild, we still go out and have fun with the PvE aspect of the game such as running dungeons and event farming.
We are over 120 members strong and rapidly growing!

What Is Expected?!

The following qualities are expected of potential applicants in order to be an ideal candidate:
-You need to care about ranks – both guild and personal.

-You must strive to push yourself stand out as an individual as well as care about how we operate in our WvW operations.

-You are able to maintain a substantial amount of attendance when we put out a schedule for our WvW operations. We do not have back-ups for each position and need players we can count on to be there minus emergencies and things that cannot be avoided.

-You must have both Ventrilo, mic may not be required, but we would love to hear your sexy voice

-You must be able to think on your own. I don’t want to be directing you on every little thing you should be doing when things go crazy. You must be able to realize when you make mistakes, hold yourself accountable, and ensure that they are not repeated.

-You enjoy hanging out on Ventrilo and talking to members before/after WvW operations. We want players who want to socialize with the guild. Not be a drone who logs in to slay things.

We here from Eternal Compromise would like to extend our invitation to everyone out there looking for a guild that’s suitable for all sorts of players.
Our guild is recruiting players from all sorts whether your a pvp junkie, dungeon runner, WvW strategist, or if you just want people to hang with or talk with ingame.
We are a Atlantic US based guild. Most of our local players are all from Augusta, Georgia. Our guild is new but has started to grow out of our local group of friends and into the world. We would love to have you guys come aboard and be part of our team in combining out efforts into doing activities a hand full of people wouldn’t be able to do without the support of others. We plan to stay active as much and as long as we can. We support a full ventrilo server for a more better and open communication to the other players. We are not a hardcore guild, but semi-casual. So keeping things fun is priority above all.

I think we need more Hard/Challenging Events

I wont lie, almost every event I had mostly done (100% map completion) have been all too easy, simple, and some others uninteresting. Especially events that involved the different dragon encounters. They all have been very easy and I spend 99% of the time just standing there with my gun and leaving the Auto-Attack skill 1 on all day until I receive my share of Karma/Loot/Gold. This games needs to have events that would mostly have me be more active and preferably a hard and challenging event where the reward justifies its level of difficulty/content. I know some people will complain that hard events are no fun but there are others seeing this game too easy and just “face rolling” the entire content. I know there are dungeons out there and they don’t become hard with a good group of friends and farming the Dungeon tokens. “CoF, AC, Arah” (only those 3 I really can farm EASILY in exploration)

any clue what to use for the Mystic Forge?

I’m looking for the Dusk of Rage, Two Handed Greatsword. Anyone know where I can find it? I just started on collecting 3/4 of the Legendary components and just need this last part….
