Turrets are not op at all. They can die if you and three teammates focus them down. I mean sure one or two of you might die but the turrets might go down. I think it’s important that people understand the real injustice. Spirit Rangers ai moves with them, necro minions do the same. Thus it is unfair that turrets can’t do so as well. I think that turrets should follow the ENGI around, it’s only fair.
CLASS EQUALITY
of course.. runnin’ turrets. okay if u want some runnin turrets, then give ranger also aoe-bombs and 4 pets. and in the end, we will have 8 professions who are always the same. oh wait, it was just a joke?
made my day!
yea stealth is very op, it so op that everyone is going enrage if they see a shadowrefuege… haha
autoattack is also op, anet should fix it. maybe just one attack for every profession so its absolutly balanced.
ok, just a joke.
please try to play a thief, the “master of stealth” and you will see.
btw, which arguments do u have against stealth?
cheers
the only thing i wish is 2v2/3v3 arenas. gw2 has a great combat system, i love it. but 5v5 cap maps are only fun for myself, no real competition. the problem here is that i dont know 5 people who wants to play competive pvp, the most of them are playing just for fun. so its quite hard to find 4 other people and meet them at times i prefer to play.
another fact is (i know, many people said this) that streams on twich are very boring, only the go4cups are sometimes nice to watch. ive told some friends from my wow-time to join gw2, telling them about the great combat-system that it is far away from healer/dd combos who dominate pvp. the first thing that most of them ask were: … (im sure u know it).
and i also dont understand arguments like “they split the player base” and “gw2 is balanced for 5v5 fights”.
to the first one: arenas are mostly for competition, i think no one would only play arenas. and another fact is that a lot of new player will join gw2, i dont think any player will leave when gw2 gets arenas.
to the second: yea, some combos maybe will be played very often, but gw2 is also good 2v2 and 3v3 balanced. look at esl games, did u ever seen a 5v5 fight? most of the time they make 2v2 or 3v3 fights and they have different professions. also look at private 2v2/3v3 arenas, they work fine.
and please stop talking about private arenas, they are always deathmatch maps. so player have to manage rules. and there is no leaderboard.
cheers

until now i have never seen a position-cheater, but if i see anyone i will post the video here. i record 90% of my fights, to see in which situation i made horrible things and how to do it better. i remember a strange thief, but i will first proof the video tomorrow before i say anything about it. cheers
i can’t believe that this is true. the server doenst manage the player-position? please tell me from where u get this information. playerposition, damage, cooldowns, complete movement must run on server-side. the client just sends to the server that he press “2”, the server now calculate everything and sends back to client.
If everything would be server side, then the only way to cheat, would be to send dumb packets and fool server.
Obviously not everything is server side.
and this should also blocked from a good server. the only way to cheat is that u can read player poisitons from files that the game is using. maybe a aimbot that controls your mouse but this should be no problem in gw2. but if u as client send your position to the server, no one should wonder about position-cheaters
This happens because the server sent the damage information, but not the position information. So the client is notified that the player took damage, but not that he was actually inside the hole.
