I’ve recently reopened Infinite Nebula, an EU based PvE guild centered around dungeon and fractal content, with raids coming in the future once we have enough of a base to run them consistently throughout the week.

A recap of what we offer:
- Active TS3 server, will look into a discord server for IRC
- Players for any kind of content, mostly PvE based content
- Dungeon and fotm mentoring to help you reach that next level

Infinite Nebula [ION] Recruiting!!

Hi there,

We are Infinite Nebula [ION] a European based, semi hardcore guild that is now raids focused, but also offers teams for every other area of PvE content. We decided to make the move to focus heavily on raids recently, as such we did a full revamp of our guild to accommodate this more.

We do have a different process of ranking up and down, with our trial being for the raider rank, Questions on this can be answered at a later date.

What we expect of you:
Be on Teamspeak at any possible chance, if you are doing guild stuff you are on TS
Be open minded, and be ready to learn or help others
Have at least one fully geared class for raids, and be working on another, this is a minimum as it gives us flexibility.
A good attitude, eltisim will result in a kick from the guild.

What we can provide you:
A well established guild environment and structure, and the ability to work with the leaders to get what you want out of the guild
Teams for content that are of a good standard
Teamspeak 3 server, guild site and various other out of game things

There we go, kicked out of teq during the early morning run on EU with either 0 ping or 2,935 ping. Taxi was fine getting in, sat there for like 25-30 mins then once teq started it just spiked and logged me at least twice.

+1 EU servers are always at best 400ms ping, its insanity that even with a good connection I can have more ping than the rest of my party combined. Its sad because it does make things harder, for instance Lupi solos… I had to do them at a certain time every day otherwise the lag would just takeover and I’d port around, friends can confirm it happening.

I hope there is something that can be done for it, as this game like others has so much more potential to be unlocked imo by making it fair for everyone in terms of ping and latency.

We try to use TS all the time, but we do have some groups that organize themselves in guild chat then get on ts for greater co-ordination!

Just a side note about builds….

We are looking for meta builds, although we have accepted other builds as long as the party performance and the speed of the path(s) isn’t affected, if it is these players are expected to change to the meta build.

I know these 2 guys probably weren’t in the best place to answer, but the fact that they didn’t even bother saying “it’s definitely something we talk about” tells us that dungeons aren’t and will not be something Anet care about.

We, as a community, better do something, I don’t know what, I don’t know how but something must be done. Over the past 2 days we have seen Dev/Community manager post everywhere on the forum, except the dungeon subforum

We might not represent the biggest part of GW2, but I’m pretty sure it’s due to Anet ignoring this aspect of the game rather than the player’s interest. For casual players, farming open world event is more rewarding than dungeons, so they might run them once and never set a foot in there again because it wouldn’t be worth it.

Dungeon have their place in MMO and ignoring that is a big mistake, for many of us dungeon has been the competitive scene in MMO, pvp is fun and everything but was first introduce in MMO as a side game for fun. I wish I could feel the thrill of getting a world raid first like in world of warcraft, nothing come close to it in gw2. If it wasn’t for the fluid combat system I’m pretty sure most of us, “elitist” would have left a while ago.

The only way for us to be heard by the devs is by switching off and playing other games. They won’t listen to anything else, as with us still logging in, the game is still running successfully.

Based over the EU servers of Seafarer’s Rest and Desolation, we are a PvX guild established almost a year ago, and we have recently opened our doors once again to invite you all to the ION community.

What we offer:
- Teamspeak 3 server
- Private PVP arena
- Dedicated players who cover dungeons, fractals (all levels), tPvP and WvW
- Guild Missions

What we expect from you:
- 100% representation, we are not an LFG guild and will refuse to be treated as such (bank guilds are fine just please tell us)
- Be motivated, and willing to get involved
- Willing to do things that may be outside of your comfort zone
- Teamspeak if possible, just makes the runs smoother with voice communication
- Willingness to accept the views of others, doesn’t mean you have to agree

2. Trial in your field (fotm,pvp or dungeons)

3. After the trial you will be given either a pass or a fail by the testers present, and feedback is given either way, with the chance to retrail an option if you fail.

4. Once you have passed, you will be placed on a temporary rank for a week to allow you to interact with the community and see if it is the right fit for you and if you are for us.
