I appreciate the delay but you really should’ve made an executive decision regarding the snowstorm and the unforeseen setbacks earlier to prevent people from wasting their time doing nothing, like taking time off of work which they won’t get back.
You know, there are other things to do in life. If you are seriously sitting around waiting and taking time off work for a game that is not time sensitive then you need to look to yourself before telling others what they should be doing.

Personally its just something I am not interested in. Given that the place is likely hard to get to and Im not a good jumper, to me its just a waste of time and I would just keep doing what I was there for. I do think calling the populace apathetic because they aren’t interested in what you are is kind of unfair though. Maybe you will get luckier next time. Best wishes on your fun.
the amount of work designing a suit as either a set or a onepiece is almost EXACTLY the same, both need to be fitted to each race.
the only extra work comes when it is time to make an easy thumbnail a bit of text,
and breaking the outfit into sections, thats it.
I am afraid you are the one who is wrong and obviously have no clue how it works. Firstly, there are light/Med/and Heavy that would need to be made vs 1 outfit – that’s three times the work before we’ve even started.
then every individual piece needs to be designed and checked for clipping issues not just with that armour set but with every other armour set in the game. That is not the case with an outfit. Also the follow up work when unexpected clipping does occur is yes another workload cost.
At the end of the day, doing a 6 piece jigsaw (times number of armour pieces) is harder than a 1 piece.

No patience, it has even been barely a day since the servers came back and you are whining about not getting a reply.
I want to say thank you and congratulations for quickly identifying a problem and taking the steps needed to correct that, even if it was painful for you anet and your player base. The loss of 2 or so hours is nothing compared to what the loss could have been.
That said, many players lost their daily progression that either did it during the 2 hours or were not able to complete it due to the downtime. The ones that did it the evening before were lucky to get their rewards. I would suggest a possible good will offer of your choice to the player base to thank them for their patience.
I am sure you saved the database when you took it down and I do hope that you will carefully verify all the claims that come through support over extreme losses (and not power traders “loss”) before giving the “lost” pre cursors out to people.
I lost progression on my accounts but am happy with the communication and when I saw it was going to take hours to correct I went out for a nice steak dinner instead for once!

I dont see why at each server linking that all glickos are rest to say 1800. It might take a couple of weeks for the true t1 and t4 to sort themselves out but at least it would be different matchups for the first half of the 2 month cycle.
