I am finding the same issues, smokescale smokefield is broke and cannot be blasted.
Ancestral grace removes the celestial avatar button and skills while using. why? it does not do this for pve, why would you guys purposely put a handicap on a class that is having a hard time keeping up with the condi vomit meta coming out.
Signet of renewal change was perfect, this is how it should have been in the first place.
Shark cannot taunt underwater, tiger seems full on kittened atm.
I finished top 100 playing only druid, this crap makes me want to finally reroll another class and give up on druid, its already been nerfed twice in two seasons and now gets a handicap on ancestral grace.

Myself am only shaking I head right currently. Ranking is that joke. It is loaded to attainable. Basically playing athletes and players the on ranking earned money the upon casino. You are a earn place money this means the this place always won.
To be honest, myself were surprising this people am still playing. This am two pairs for two automatic tournaments. Why are does that new heart mist and accelerate range plague people ranking? this is nothing on ranking. This is nothing on ladder plank. The only exploiters and beginners am leave. Veterans still left trick the for veterinarian. Pleasure convey us don’t to went with anywhere.
What the time numerable for ranked people decreases, pairing would do only the shuffle same people. Everyone, pleasure helped yourself. Given upon. Conditionally to you are a in need of to caught that competitive prickle, or only take a several fun, ranking, championship, hall arena, 2 to 2. I fear this is by design. This seems to be going in the same direction as ranked pvp titles, after someone gets god of pvp and all the lower titles in one swoop they have no incentive to play ranked ever again for all the upcoming seasons.
I feel this is anets way of forcing better players to bugger off and give the guppies a chance. I really wish this was not the case because I expected AT’s to be the revival of 5 man competitive play.
I am hoping this is just them testing the waters with the return of 5 man, they have 4 tournaments in the tournament window. I do not see any reason why they cant add a whole bunch more tournaments at different time intervals with different QP minimums and possibly QP maximums so they can have noob only tournaments.
Also the rewards do suck, and the contender window can be reorganized into a bracket visual.
I like where this discussion is heading.
I believe by sterilizing the player names players will not be able to have biases against other players for their plays or behavior in previous matches. This will mean all badmouthing/throwing will remain in the game in question and everyone will get a clean slate when entering the next game.
Imagine that, competetive pvp getting back to the brass tacks of teamcomp versus teamcomp and strategy.
Yes, smart players will still be able to figure out potentially who people still are by titles and outfits. Also what you mentioned megilandil by player behavior. I am not sure all distinctive markings can be sterilized but it will then force the naughty players to put in more effort to continue these practices and the less capable naughty players will no longer be able to continue with this unsportsman like conduct.
Removing players ability to whisper in game may prevent collusion and by removing player names it will make it harder for cheaters to coordinate against others.
Also I do not think there is any point in “tracking cheaters”, we have a tool to track cheaters its called the report tool. Let arenanet deal with it.
In WvW enemy players have just a circle above their head instead of a name.
Why cant we just delete all the player names and guild names and just have the class represented so that players can not whisper individuals to throw or realize they are on a team with their buddies and all hop in discord together or throw and crap.
Just change the names for chat to “Ranger 1”, “Necromancer 2”.
Also why is whispering the enemy team even allowed in ranked?
I think this would cut down on people bad mouthing a particular player or throwing because they see their mortal enemy on their team or throwing because they want a top 10 player’s duo queue to lose.

The stuck command in its current form is pretty laughable for Rangers. Sure you can pet swap but that is no guarantee that you will be able to get out of combat to use the command. Not to mention if both pets are dead and you have a bunch of time left on pet swap. Also depending on the location you are stuck you are often too close to the point and just get continuously nailed by aoe skills.
I see logging out to character screen as currently the only effective option, even then the time out for leaving the match equates to two or more character deaths back to back. In the words of Darek “You killed me twice without killing me”.
I have had countless matches where players are purposely pulling people into walls, duo queue guardians using spear of justice in ranked both focusing on getting just one unsuspecting player into a wall, full 5 man AT teams with all knockback skills equipped. As soon as they get one player its over, the game turns into an easy 4v5 and every second the player in the wall delays by pleading with his teamates on what to do snowballs the final time the player has been eliminated from the field of play.
Even telling newer players to go to character screen and come back brings up a misleading message which causes them to think “oh no I do not want all that dishonor” and delays their entrance back into the game even more because then they argue with their teamates.
I propose allowing the stuck command to be used once every game as an instant command that kills the player in or out of combat and causes them to go through regular respawn time. Players might be cautious about using it for fear of rallying other players. Also disallow downed players from using the command to avoid bleed outs. Include details about this command on the instruction window that pops up every game. If getting stuck occurs again for that same player let them go to the character screen but change the text to reflect “If you are back in under 2 mins then no dishonor” but force them to have the time penalty for leaving the game.
Attached is a screenshot of a Platinum player duo queing as two guardians in ranked bragging about his less than honorable strategy. Blending Platinum matchmaking with lower divisions makes this especially dangerous because most newer players have never encountered the situation of being stuck in a wall. I will be honest this triggers me more than people on your team purposely throwing.

Invulnerability is an effect that prevents the target from taking damage, receiving conditions, or being affected by control effects. It does not prevent fall damage, or environmental traps.
Has anyone tried using traps to see if they work against invulnerability?
For a game that is supposedly balanced why is there a make shift “God Mode”.
I’m wasting my time considering posting this, but I believe Invulnerability should not allow any other actions including finishers in PvP.To my knowledge Engineers have 100% chance of successful finisher when turning on Invulnerability. How can an Elementalist even do a finisher in Mist Form? You’re kittening MIST!!
Also, can Mesmers even Moa Transform someone with Invulnerability?……
Stability is also broken. I suggest revamping stability to work like the mini bosses and heroes we summon in the game — a bar you deplete before stun can actually work.
Why keep this mechanic separate?
If you ever read the skill that gives guardians invulnerability you will notice it is a three second cast time, meaning they can not do anything else while they are channeling it. Guardians can not stomp while channeling.
Engineers do NOT have 100% chance of completing a stomp while using elixir because the enemy team can stealth the downed body or if the downed player is a thief or mesmer they can teleport away or stealth themselves. Elementalists can mist away (even through a mesmer portal) and Warriors can Vengeance. Also Engineers are vulnerable to conditions while using Elixir.
Stability can be removed from enemy players with boon rip/corrupt skills or from sigil of annulment.
Hey There,
So when these pvp ascended accessories, amulets, and rings came out I was sure to scoop them up. At first I purchased several of the rings before I realized you could not attune them. Needing them for fractals this was a show stopper, so I was forced to look elsewhere for rings. Then finally a patch was introduced allowing you to attune them. (thank the heavens!)
So I geared out my condi necro and slapped the accessories and rings on him to prepare for t4 hardmode npc slaughter fractals.
A couple months later after finishing world completion I found out these items had their stats reset and I ended up doing world completion with several hundred less condition damage. (boy that sure would have helped out)
As far as I know the Attuned Mist Band (Infused) and the Mist Talisman had their stats reset so any stat configuration was again available for reselection. I do not have a Mist Pendant but I assume the same thing happened with this pvp item.
With these items only being ascended I did not think stat reselection would have been an option. I have not heard any patch notes informing us that the reset had occurred so I figured I would mention this in the hopes to prevent other players from walking around with statless Hunk’O’Junk do nothing items.
So my question is simple, why did this happen and can we expect this to happen again in the future?

ANET PLEASE LOOK AT CHARACTERS BUILDS PRE QUEUE AND STRUCTURE TEAMS WITH 2 BUNKS AND 3 DPS.
Nothing is more disheartening than being on a team with 3/4 bunks and 1/2 dps. Also bad is 4/5 dps on a team. Please make it so double thief teams are at least different builds (ie. 1 staff, 1 d/p).
Please rate player performance on the role they are trying to fulfill.
Please give stats to players who capture map specific buffs/skyhammer/lord kills/beast kills.
Please to not mix bronze and silver ranked players in gold/plat/leg level play. PLEAAAAASSSEEEEEEEE. Rating should be based on skill level obtained by profession. If you are going to lock professions then the leaderboards should contain character names not account names.
Locking professions at this point may be worthwhile if only to prevent players who start on a thief, feed the enemy 4-5 times then switch (leaving game for 1 min 30 secs (just under desertion time limit)) then feeding the enemy again on a class they have not properly set up or know how to play.
I have seen games where a character switch can save the team because the enemy has too many counters to that class. It is rare but can be effective when done by a skilled multiclasser. This can happen midgame rather than at the start because the enemies builds are not known from the start. But generally what happens is mentioned above.
Will this prevent going to character screen and selecting the same character to die quickly and avoid a bleedout?
Not allowing character switch in unranked for pvp dailies is another offensive in the war against single classers.
