While I am super happy that this has happened, I’m also a little bitter about it as well having previously bought THREE sets of the tools for 3 different characters. I REALLY wish that there was an option to trade tools back in for 75% of the purchase price as now I’ll only ever need 1 set ever again. :/
This thread isn’t about whether or not Jade Quarry gets an easy win. It’s about the overtime that Blackgate and Sanctum of Rall have to put in to stand a chance. Blackgate is weak during Oceanic, so members of our NA guilds are staying up late to give their support. Our SEA also needs support, so our Oceanics are doing overtime. Then we have to deal with the EU, so NA guilds are getting up early. The fact is that people want their efforts to go towards something, and putting in all these extra hours is useless is Jade Quarry only needs to play overtime for 3 or 4 weeks compared to Blackgate and Sanctum of Rall who only get one week where we don’t need overtime. It’s physically draining and commanders and players alike are going to burn out with all this pressure. People want to win, its the first league, and we want a fair chance.
This.
EDIT: 454 + 1 = a bad word, apparently.
It’s because of 1337 speak. 4 = a, 5 = s. I’m sure you can figure it out.
Perhaps I should have been more explicit in stating it is on a female. The male belt section is a leather belt 110% and dyes as normal leather would. The belt on females is a matte “plastic” piece with horrible dye scaling that doesn’t look like metal, cloth or leather.
So I did a bit of searching and saw that this suggestion has come up before but rather than necro the other topic I figured I’d start a new and fresh one to keep bumped.
The belt for T3 Human heavy is a different “material” in game and thus looks different from whatever other color your armor might be dyed. I would love for this to be rectified as it’s exceedingly annoying for me and many others who don’t want to be forced into a select few dye colors to minimize the noticeable difference in the aforementioned belt material.
Too late SF, you’re next.
You’re lucky I’m not home at the moment because I’m not a big fan of the guesting thing. We’ve got the PvE force to do it, we even have leadership, we just need to get everyone together and marshaled much like BG did and I’m sure we can do it on our own. Nobody seems to believe me, though, and that’s a shame.
It was a joke, really. I am just a lowly BG peon and follow the masses. It was a, seemingly, terrible attempt at forum humor. :P

Hi there!
My name is Damian and I’m looking for a mainly PvE focused guild with minor interest in SPvP and even less interest in WvW . Culling is a huge issue for me in WvW due to lack of a super quality internet connection. With that being said, I do enjoy the occasional WvW small scale/skirmisher type things.
I’ve been in several guilds since launch. Most of which have a “huge” number of “members” but generally only 2-3 representing at any given time. Barren guild chat and even less talking going on in whatever voice program they chose to use.
I am a 28 year old male with a sometimes erratic work schedule. Most evenings, Eastern Standard Time, I am online and partaking in some type of shenanigans. I’ve been playing MMOs since my friend and I discovered UO in middle school. I am sarcastic, make excellent use of various profanities including timeless classics as well as some made up on the fly and I like pushing the limits of my ability in game. I get along with most everyone that I’ve met in my 14ish odd years of gaming and don’t really enjoy drama. My main is an 80 Thief but I also have an 80 Ranger for all around farming. I enjoy running dungeons and tackling dynamic events.
I guess all I really want out of a guild is a core group of 15-30 people who are social and talkative and less of the “lone wolf” mentality that seems to plague my previous guilds. I have 0, ZERO, desire to fill out an application for a website that I don’t ever plan on visiting. I don’t want to join the guild page on Facebook or Twitter or any other social media site as I visit all that less frequently than most would deem normal by today’s standards. I don’t really have any expectations beyond that since there’s no real “raid” type system here. I would prefer a guild that uses Ventrilo as it’s the system I’m most familiar with and seems to give me the least amount of bandwidth fuss. I would prefer a guild with members in the 21+ range that doesn’t feel it necessary to embellish in how much pot they smoke or beer they consume.
Server isn’t really an issue as free transfers allow me to go pretty much wherever to find a small community of friends. I currently reside on Darkhaven for what it’s worth.
Feel free to chat with me in game for any details or questions.
Cheers.
I would love to see these removed and be replaced with new gem types providing the same stat combinations. As a whole, these feel kind of useless when they’re the best items I pull from a chest. Aside from the of the Soldier type, it’s generally more profitable to sell them to a vendor since people tend to sell them at a loss of a few copper on the Trading Post. The few times I’ve listed any 1-2c above vendor price (after tax) they sit for weeks on end before I suck it up and vendor it. They have no use outside of armor unlike their gem counterparts which can be made into other things or just used in armor.
I’ve seen a multitude of NPC’s wearing this outfit. The woman outside of CM, the Mesmer trainer (pictured), and at least another 2-3 through random encounters in the world.
Does it exist anywhere in the game other than as an NPC outfit? I would love to have this for my Mesmer.
You might want to look at the author of that post along with the time/date as well as the author of this post along with the time/date.
;)
I have no idea who the awesome person was that put this in, but I tip my hat to you sir or ma’am.
iEuthanasia feels like this thread needs more 3rd person Dev postings to be truly full of win.
Conversely, iEuthanasia disagrees with the OP in every way, shape and form.
I moved here yesterday. The world selection doesn’t automatically update. Log in on a character and go back to the character selection screen and see if it has dropped down to something other than full.
Bear in mind, that a large portion of the population right now are botters killing Krayt. >.>
Dungeon Difficulty - I don’t see how this keeps coming up. I really don’t. Firstly, they have stated numerous times that the average PuG isn’t supposed to be able to jump into an explorable mode and clear it. End of story. If you don’t have the common sense to move out of red circles or to dodge roll when the boss/mob does the tell tale “DBZ spirit bomb” charge up animation, you deserve to get flattened. There is no Holy Trinity. There’s no healer there to save you when you stand in bad for 3-4 seconds like a turret. There is no tank there so you can spec “leet deeps” and not have to worry about survivability.
Token Rewards - This is a problem for some. Others, it’s not that big a deal for. The instant gratification crowd seems to be the only ones really upset about this. The problem I think most people run into, is that they want to run all 3 paths back to back. Every time I’ve ran back to back paths my rewards are: 60 first path, 45 second path and 30 third path. So I decided to test and wait various lengths of time between runs. If I wait an hour after I COMPLETED the first path then I get the full reward of 60 when I complete the second path and so on. People seem to glaze over the fact that ALL dungeons are tied to this DR system. Doing a path in TA and then going to CoF right after to “wait for TA DR to reset” doesn’t seem to work either. They go to CoF and get 45. The people getting like 10/5/2 tokens, you’re getting boned. I don’t have super cool advice for you.
Conclusion - Some people love the dungeon difficulty and others don’t. The same can be said for any game. Don’t expect massive changes to current mechanics in order to appeal to a small percentage of the game population. Posts on the forums don’t give a solid representation of that. The forums are a small minority of the total community. If you don’t like the game then don’t play it.
