Someone write this down, AR and NSP (and I’m willing to bet BP) completely agree on this. AR has had big guilds leave, NSP lost tons of players, not sure about BP but server transfers rob mid and lower tiers of their cores and ruin the match ups for a large segment of the population. Kaineng and the band wagoners who transferred there have messed up enough matchups, please try and work with what you have and develop your players and strategy before you go running for help because you suddenly aren’t steamrolling underpopulated low-tier servers.

That’s the difference though. While we realize that we outmanned the lower-tier servers, and trust me—we didn’t have fun either, this is no longer the case. As obvious as it seems, we’re finally on similar footing with our current match and we love it! However, just as the lower tiers didn’t enjoy losing everything overnight, we don’t enjoy losing everything over the EU Timezone.

That last sentence is the purpose of this thread, the show that we are lacking in the EU Timezone. No matter how well-developed our current players are, we lose things in the EU time slot simply because we don’t have the people to do put up any sort of resistance.

I’m not sure how closely you’ve follow Kaineng’s matchup but we are usually able to fight evenly during the NA Timeslot and do even better during the Oceanic—we just want the ability to offer the same competition during the EU slot.

But all in all, we are sorry that we ruined many of your matchups with our server; again, playing with 600+ PPI isn’t fun for us either. It was our intent to move through the tiers as fast as we could to avoid making your miserable week into weeks and we did that, we got to where we are now, and we are quite happy with the incredible match-up we’ve been having.

From Fort Aspenwood, I wish your recruitment campaign a success along with ours. For the longest time since release, I’ve been wanting Jade Quarry, Kaineng and Fort aspenwood to fight in tier together just so I could call it the Battle of Cantha.

Honestly, TC should be an option for everyone considering transferring. These guys have been nothing but a blast to fight against, from DIS’s fight club (In which I totally got wrecked) to the epic reset nights.

While I’ll be the first to admit that it was a little frustrating to see the “transfers” (who are all Kaineng now, part of the family and all that) get all the credit for Kaineng’s rise, I quickly realized that attitude came from outside Kaineng.

This is another good point. There is no one guild that deserves credit for what Kaineng has done; each individual has had an impact to Kaineng’s success. From those who have taught us and those who have learned to us, we each have brought different skills and worked as a server to get to where we are!

Kaineng actually needs stronger N/A presence as well to be competitive in T1.

Yeah, Kaineng could use some stronger NA, true.

The difference is that while our NA can and will improve over time, our EU will not. Why? We have the numbers in the NA time for the most part but we don’t have anything in EU.

Kaineng would love VotF to join us in tier 2; we’ve had some absolutely amazing matchups with BG and TC. On top of that, VotF can look forward to some good competition with BG’s strong EU presence!

I hope that after BG moves up (and hopefully, TC stays with us!) that we can continue to have this thread as a memory for what great fights we’ve had and oh yeah, the best kitten match-up thread ever?!

If either BG or TC move out of T2 this week, I just wanted to say that it has been a pleasure fighting you all! I’ve personally learned so much and can’t wait to use it to dismantle the next opponent so we can be together again!

Hey just think about all the competition you guys will have in tier one facing JQ’s asian zerg.

With a recent departure of SoS’s guilds (FoE, Agg, MERC, VotF, ND, etc.), you guys will definitely have a lot of fun competition when BG (eventually) moves up! It’s been a little bit since you fought them but they are still a great group to go against

That being said, no one is saying that the transfers are underperforming or that anyone is unsatisfied with anyone else. Kaineng has made a long journey up that many of us have fought for just the same; it’s been about 2 months since a lot of guilds first moved to Kaineng. We are completely happy with the effort that each individual player has given towards Kaineng’s success and look forward to many more great fights in Tier 2.

No matter what server a guild moves to, they will be considered a “transfer”, so using the Kaineng is all transfers logic, why wouldn’t a guild come to join other “transfers” and fit in better? I’m sure integrating with other “transfers” is much easier than fitting in with an established group of WvW guilds.

The OP really only says that we would like people to consider coming to Kaineng as well. I, for one, would love to welcome new players to play with on Kaineng— regardless of skill level or size. Fresh faces are always fun; there’s nothing wrong with adding new people and letting them enjoy the awesome fights we are having with TC and BG!

I got infracted and that post got deleted because apparently we aren’t allowed to post a “Support Ticket” here.

That’s silly. I submitted a ticket about the same issue and I got the generic response of “This is an issue the Dev team is already aware of and has already planned for a fix in an upcoming patch.”

I honestly can’t believe that TC, Kain, and BG fought in Kain Garrison for over 2 hours. That fight was absolutely nuts, congratulations to everyone involved!

Shoutout to both TC and BG on KBL. We have been fighting for over 40 minutes with most of Kaineng Garrison broken, and it’s still going on as I type.

Uh, Kain is historically the lower tiered server. Mag’s been near the top since the dawn of time.

You’re absolutely correct about Kain being a historically lower tiered server (dead last sounds about right) but I question what you consider “near the top.”

According to http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/38/2#history, last week was the first time you broke top-10, meaning you’ve floating in tier 4 (or lower) the entire time. Not to take anything away from Maguuma; I’ve had a great time fighting you all and you guys have some of the best militia I’ve seen in a looooooooooong time. Just curious.

Hopped into EB to see DB’s Zerg roll for a few minutes and back into DB BL to watch (RISE) sweep our garrison with 10+ golems!

This was easily one of the more fun engagements of the night. Shoutout to DB for holding their garrison for SO long and enduring an barrage of attacks from both Kain and Mag.

CO and RISE finally got the garrison after both guilds literally flipped camps for 5 minutes and made about 14 golems in all.

I’m sure everyone on Kain and Maguuma are enjoying this week’s matchup, it’s only been 8 hours and has been one fun kitten day!

Huge shoutout to that DR group that was fighting us on Kaineng’s Southwest supply camp. That was an amazing fight that lasted for 10 minutes and you guys got the camp.

Easily the best fight I’ve had in a long time
