Returning Player Looking for a New HC WVW Guild, Pref T2, T1 is fine too

I use to command OCX, GC and GO in the SEA and OCX time zone not sure if I want to command again as its a huge commitment, but I would like to do some GVGs.

We know exactly what MERC was made of. Ralikh and Tarkus would stay up passed 4 am running the float everyday. For that, we are nothing but thankful for the months of leading us.
@MERC, Hope you guys have fun on JQ, we will definitely miss you. Last night farming JQ at those 2 bays was the best way you could have ended your journey on BG.

Sincerely appreciate what they did for BG. But no, I don’t understand. I joined BL which mostly outmanned and stayed till 2-3am in the morning and overnight during weekend and I am willing to do that to give a bit of my dps or supply to help out. Though I know commanding is much more energy consuming.

Most SEA players left the game and it is not their choice to be unsupportive. I see ND/CA/SURP/TMD they go out there everyday with only 10-20 man being wiped numerous times by JQ blob but they are still doing their best to get some keeps/towers before tick. They don’t have as many members as MERC and it is not their fault. If they are leaving the server because our SEA/EU were not being supportive, sorry I don’t wish them luck. They just want an easy win and probably JQ will suit them most. And if pvdoor during SEA is the fight they are looking for I respect that. I thought MERC (you know I exclude you guys who stay) were a group of warriors who want fun fight I heard Tarkus complaining boring when there was no fight but hypocrisy much huh?

Please don’t let me see any of the MERC commanders commanding at borderlands at 3-4am. You left because you don’t want to get burnout then keep your kitten words.

SoS has really decent numbers in Oceanic and SEA. They just simply need a few guilds to unite their insane amount of militia like what MERC and co. did in the past.

A lot of experts on SoS all of the sudden.

MERC didn’t “rally” the militia. They got everyone who was hardcore WvW in Oceanic together…then left.

Everyone who WvW’d everyday (with the exception of a dedicated, great few) left. The precious few who stayed, had to rebuild all timezones from scratch.

We have a lot of potential, and we know it; but you don’t just yank out a rug that big and expect it to change overnight.

This has some sense. I’m also ex-SOS and I stayed on SOS from the tier 1 fall all the way to tier 4. It got to a point where the last couple of main guilds couldn’t do much. So to keep our communities alive we left. But anyways enough of the past. Thanks to TS and friends and Awe for the good fights tonight. Also Awe what was up with that 3rd floor SMC defense…. but all in all a fun night for GC and OCX. Also it was us you guys were fighting not NYS or SAHP they were on TC BL. And thanks to WvW from last Sunday the 25 of us had a lot of fun against you all. You guys are always fun to fight. Thanks all, good fights so far lets end this week on a good note.

U forgot Hire, lol, that was one of the funnest night i had in wvw for long time, DAT GRUB shall forever haunt our memories and we had a really good laugh when we eventually wiped to dat grub, PVE too hard.

Good to see some Old SOS friends mainly TS+pugs, dat blob u guys had in EB was nasty we had some really good engagements all night, keep bringing it all week guys its been a blast, that fight at the stairs at WC was awesome.

You could probably sing daisy and wipe 75 with 25 people. Are you surprised that you get doubleteamed in SEA?

Not surprising at all, I rather agree that a leaner and more effective force destroying a much larger group would induce an unnatural amount of anger that would lead to a noticeable commander such as yourself to admit that BG and JQ are indeed double-teaming on SoR.

Nice edit (numbers were swapped to improve OCX’s kitten). Looks like OCX childishness has crept from their in-game performance onto the forums. OCX can’t win an even numbered fight let alone beating larger numbers than yourselves, although if running constantly is considered winning then you win all the time. Have fun tonight, I know I will.

PPT is srs business Nirmu, Merc can’t handle losing, that’s why they threaten to leave every server as soon as they start losing. I could go on to quote the essay Merc wrote to SOS before they left, but i’m sure there’s already one in the BG forums.

If you are really after some even numbered fights. how about getting into gvg and not floating with 70 ppl, o wait Merc don’t gvg it affects the precious PPT.

One of the best Guilds on BG, extremely fun to fight, Phil and Fidd are top blokes.

Look forward to more GVGs, FYI fidd I got banned for 3 days, we should be ok for wedns tho.

Great fun on TC bl during oceanic and SEA timezone, you guy’s tenacity to hold garrison was amazing, I spend 3 hrs trying to get garrison in oceanic prime but u guys just wouldn’t crack, In then end i left to cap SOS bl back. it took us IRON + OCX + AFS + FEAR + rallians from other guilds 8 alpha 2 omega golems rush to take it down.

Also fun fights on SOS bl, we got wiped on the first engagement as we underestimated you guys on open field.

look forward to some more fights in the days to come.

Don’t get discouraged by the score, focus on winning fights and learning tactics from higher tiers.

It’ll only make u guys stronger, I highly suggest GvGing against any guilds u can to see their tactics, setups and movements and learning from them.

Oceanix was founded on Sea of Sorrows as the unofficial Australian Reddit Guild (GMT+10 and GMT+8), with the recent collapse of SOS we began searching for a new home and have since settled in nicely in Sanctum of Rall and are proud to be apart of this server.

We are not aiming to make a difference and blow our whistle to the world. We are just there to have competitive WvW. I think more then half of the people hear even haven’t heard of our guild as we like to keep things low key.

I think it is best we do not reveal our scouts, I do not want any people or server pulling an act(Burn out or all nighter) to prove a point and try to pull us to their server. We will go about this quietly as possible without causing any stress to any servers ^^.

We had an AFS in our channel last night running around with us, I felt extremely stressed and in a position where I was forced to perform :’c

Kidding, but in all seriousness, if you want to be appreciated and supported while also giving us a much needed SEA boost, come down to Sanctum of Rall. The community, attitude, and ‘never give up’ ideology that we have will be in my opinion the best choice you can make. I dont know of any other server thats willing to wake up at 7 AM on the weekend just to support their oceanic and SEA population. On Sanctum of Rall, you will always have support and always be appreciated for the hard work you put in.

My guild is relatively new to the WvW scene on SoR and I can personally attest to the warm welcoming attitude that the other main guilds have displayed. If we’re running into trouble on a BL or in EB, other guilds are always willing to lend a helping hand and map hop to make sure we keep our objectives.

We would love to have you come aboard and work alongside our family.

Yes, he also observed NYS’s play tonight, and many guys tell me to perform well. As a commander I am sooooooooooooo stressful. But lucky we did quite good before the update commenced

I will add some informative comments for you to understand each server SEA coverage from my point of view. (SEA only, not Oceanic)
JQ – Highest Coverage of all server. FOO guild alone can field up to 50+ zerg themselves, not to mention they have many more.
BG – Second best SEA coverage of all server. We have Thai,Urge (Philiplines),ND (Taiwan), ND (HK/China), MERC (Australian), IIB operate in this timezone. And we coorperate with each others via server teamspeak with commander whisper list to call for help/arrange a plan if required.
SoR – The least SEA coverage of all tier1 server. I would say they have barely no SEA. (or a few) Sometimes they can field some people but most of them prolly overtime NA.

KN – I would say they’re 3rd best SEA coverage of entire server. Due to the fact that they have WM (Warmachine) guild in this timezone. They alone can field 40-60+ ppl zerg as well combining with some RE and another guilds. Definitely very strong SEA presence here.
FA – I would say they have the least SEA coverage on tier2.
TC – They have some SEA but not a lot. Still i think they’ve better SEA coverage than FA, talking about tier2.

Still, i would like you to consider our Blackgate server as your option if you like tier1 and want a challenge for your team. We’re willing and looking forward for a key small strike team in this timezone. Of course not everybody know how important a small group of organized players can do but we know how important you can do Let join Blackgate, and have fun! I can guarantee you that! Our SEA team can also organize a small meeting with your guild leader/rep in case you want to know more about Blackgate and how we operate.

ND – Nine Dragons is Chinese/Taiwanese
ND – Never Die is Korean
MERC – was founded as a SEA guild

As to your criteria I’de say last week was a pretty good example of the Blackgate SEA guilds working together ;P

Between MERC, ND, Thai, Urge we managed to pull together and full cap all borderlands, not through coverage but via constant communication via our TS and our floating / stationary teams which allowed for a 500 ppt even against JQ’s stacked SEA. Ofc we’re paying for it this week with most our guilds being burnt out / tired and JQ being as ferocious as ever, but we worked together flawlessly to achieve the goal; beating JQ.

Community, Oceanic + SEA wvw scene + server unity were the same qualities we were considering when OCX was looking for a new home and I have to say we found a good one in SOR.

SOR is one of the most friendly servers I been on, their community is great you can prob get more info at http://www.sanctumofrall.com/.

WVW- SOR prob have the weakest oceanic and SEA presence in T1 currently, but our NA has some of the strongest and most dedicated Guilds around, in CDS, CHOO, FEAR, TW, HEL, GSCH, PLUM and HL. I would say one of the if not the strongest NA presence in T1, and many choose to stay up just so they can support and play with our AUS and SEA crew.

In terms of SEA and Oceanic presence, we have HIRE, OCX, SEC, NYS, SAHP and SYN we prob can fill one or 2 maps during peak oceanic and SEA time.

If you are looking for WVW community SOR has been great, we were personally welcome by every major SOR guild when we first moved here. Recently all the NA guilds woke up on a saturday at 3-5am in the morning just so they could support and play with the oceanic and SEA guilds and i dont mean just a few nearly all of CHOO TW FEAR HEL HL were all up with us till we eventually went to bed, extremely active server TS, with average of 300+ ppl online at peak times.

Also I have missed fighting alongside you guys <3, the first time I commanded for OCX was on the same map with you and we golem rushed hills together lol.
