Guild Wars 2

[TSD] Transcendence is currently a small guild on Blackgate struggling to find some friends. We are looking for dedicated, active people to have fun with, hang out on ventrilo (or some other voice program), and just enjoy the game in the presence of some fun people.

ABOUT US

-We are looking for people closer to our age, as it’s easier to get along and familiarize with people who are closer in age. We prefer that you be between the ages 17 and 28, but can make exceptions.

WE LIKE TO:

-PvE : The occasional dungeon or fractal. Running around in a group gathering, doing events, map completion, etc.

-PvP: As we get larger, we plan on leaning more towards PvP than PvE (doing both of course). Maybe even getting a few tPvP groups going on, but with a more casual approach (not a hardcore guild). sPvP and occasionally some WvW when guildies want to do it.

We want to get to know you on a more personal, close-knit level. We don’t want to just increase our numbers as a guild, as that isn’t what is important to us. What’s the point in having a large guild where you barely get to actually know the people you spend your time with? We want people we can relate to, and look forward to playing with.

Most of the new content features hectic events (like all the PvP mini-events: dragon ball, sanctum sprint, etc.). Even the PvE stuff that is added is usually tough and very engaging, such as the new Queen’s stuff (self explanatory xD).

When I would play other games like WoW, when I wanted to relax and take a break from arenas or raiding I would go out and gather, doing mining or herbalism or something. It would be relaxing for the most part. However, in Guild Wars, you can’t even do that too much (unless you are in Queensdale or something), because everything is constantly attacking you if you get close.

I don’t mind too much personally, but for a lot of players it can be stressful, especially those that are new or aren’t looking for a fight.

This suggestion is written in place of my girlfriend, who brought this up to me and I figured why not bring it up to all of you because I couldn’t think of anything that was actually stress-free to do

[TSD] Transcendence is a new social PvX guild looking for dedicated, active players.

We aim to create a helpful, organized and close-knit atmosphere. We are pretty laid back and enjoying talking to people and helping everyone out. We also like to do things together, be it WvW, Dungeons, running around doing events/gathering, or just hanging around and talking.

If enough people were interested, we’d also be willing to hop on other games occasionally like TF2, L4D2, Minecraft or Cube World just to change it up for a night once in a while. Obviously our main focus will be Guild Wars ^^

We have a ventrilo server currently, but are willing to switch to TS or Raidcall, depending on what the majority of the guild prefers.

Transcendence is looking for friendly, active people who like to talk on vent, do events or dungeons. We’re mixed between casual and semi-hardcore.

We would like to eventually have a small-med sized closely-knit guild with some PvE/WvW organization.

Please don’t respond to this post if you aren’t going to talk to us in either guild chat or ventrilo. There is no point joining a guild if you aren’t going to talk! We would prefer if you were at least between the ages of 17 and 30 or so, just to prevent generation gap differences. We also expect you to be friendly and respectful to other members of the guild ^^

Majority of us are either in college or working full time, so if you fit into that category where you can’t make a time commitment of any sort, we don’t “require” you to log on at any point in time. We occasionally will host something like a screenshot contest or something similar now and then as well.

All we request is that you are a friendly and mature player. Any “excessive” swearing won’t be tolerated. Be respectful to our other members! Also, please don’t apply if you will not talk to us now and then, either over ventrilo or guild chat. Why be in a guild if you are going to sit there for two months and not communicate with anyone? :]
