Constant Disconnects
Seems to be a growing theme… Anyone else on Rogers have the same issue? Toronto perhaps?
As per my post Constant Disconnects I am experiencing the same issues.
For those people responding from near Toronto, I also am in Ontario but I reside in Ottawa. Is it possibly our ISP causing the problem? I’m with Rogers (Ultimate, their highest residential option, which is 150mbps) and have tried playing on Bell’s ADSL and Cogeco’s cable and haven’t had an issue, which leads me to believe it’s a fault on Roger’s end.
Could this have some sort of tie-in with the packet shaping (read: filtering) technology that they use to limit torrent usage? (There was a similar problem with WoW a few years back, albeit it dealt with Blizzard’s updating software)
Just a couple of thoughts.
And once again today, the disconnects continue. This time the code is:
58:11:5:504:101
Cannot connect to the login server…
Any help?
Ok.. so after having another crash, I’ve gotten the following error code:
14:4:5:919:101
I used task manager to create a dump file of the gw2.exe process, and tried to attach it, but for some reason the upload sticks at 0%. I can upload it to another site if it might give some insight?
Edit: I have attached the log that the game creates on a crash however, might be of some use.

Thanks Ashley.
I’ve tried this, and did manage to get around 20 mins (or more) of game time. It still lagged out however, and gave the following error code: (I will edit as I get more)
Network connection error.
3032:1002:3:4350:101
Please check your internet connection.
Edit: I’ve had this error a second time, after about 15 mins of game time. I tried flushing the dns cache again after the last crash to no avail.
Edit #2 Ok, so I’ve had the error another 2 times, each approximately 10 mins apart. At least the error code is consistent now.

Ever since the last patch, I’ve been having random disconnects anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours while playing. The client will lag out, and eventually kick me to the character select screen, or say it cannot connect to the login server and completely kick me out of the game and prompt me to send a dumpfile to Anet. (Don’t have an error code on hand, but it generally isn’t the same one each time)
Unlike some of the posts like this issue, my connection for anything but GW2 isn’t interrupted. I very rarely experience lag at any time during gameplay, and my average ping for most games hovers between 40-100ms.
I’ve tried to play on 2 different computers, and they both suffer the same issue. I’ve done most things I can think of to help remedy this issue: restart the modem and router, reset to factory defaults on the modem and router, wireless and wired, updating drivers and firmware.
My router is a Linksys WRT160N, and my cable modem is a Cisco DPC3825 (DOCSIS 3.0).
I’ve attached a game advisor report to see if anyone can track down the issue.
Thanks!
