Zealot Defense deals 14k dmg on CoE Mark T,provided with 25stacks of might and invul. P.S Not a single buff food is consume.

I choose 5% dmg on GS and SwordDamage Modifier+Constant Combo Invulnerability from Symbol and Blind by swapping weapon+Empowering Might = Best Guardian DPS

I’m a little confused here, what do you mean by combo invulnerability from symbols? That must be some sort of hidden trait that I’ve never seen.

Guardian; PVT or Zerker?

Plus, you can actually live in WvW. Full zerker in PvE is if you know every fight, and you have people around you that know what they are doing. Knights gives you just enough staying power to help you learn all the fights, and survive outmanned WvW encounters.

Also… I think 2 of the best balanced rune choices for the Guardian: 2xsuperior Monk, 2xSuperior Water 2x major Wate for boon duration is very useful to you and those around you. The other is pure soldier runes but they are only good if you run shouts.

I strongly agree with all of this. In my experience, Knight’s armor is the way to go. Is it the very best, most efficient choice for every possible situation? Certainly not, but for someone like me who enjoys doing a bit of everything (PvE, dungeons, fractals, WvW) it is easily the best choice. Berserker makes sense if you’re staring down the highest level fractals where everything is an instant down and no manner of vitality or toughness will mitigate any of it, but for me every other situation is best handled with Knight’s.

I don’t have to worry about getting a bad random dungeon group, I don’t have to worry about wasting space to carry an entire extra set of armor for WvW, I can just do whatever and I always have decent survivability and, at least with Berserker trinkets along with it, still hit extremely hard. I would rather have the freedom to do all of these things and be self-sustainable rather than have a marginally higher damage output and have to micro-manage my groups and gear.

Just my personal take on it.

Candidate Trials T4

I’m all for challenging content, but these trails are challenging for all of the wrong reasons. The artificial difficulty introduced when doing the trails as a group is entirely anti-fun. And yes, you can certainly solo the entirety of the trial tiers, but there is an enormous amount of luck involved as the enemy spawns are largely random. If you luck out and get enemies in the right spots or the plunderers spawn ideally, great, but otherwise you’re in for a nearly impossible time.

The enemies here do not follow a set pattern when breaking aggro — you can easily get the entire group to follow you all the way back to the initial spawn point (which can be an effective strategy). I think everyone who claims that there is a magic bullet to breaking aggro just hasn’t spent enough time with the events, as there is no spot on the map that will guarantee the enemies disengage. The magic rock only works 9 times out of 10, so there is always the chance of a bad roll there.

Ultimately though, I think the biggest issue is just that the entire set of events only rewards Berserker, damage-niche traits and stats. Yes, it can be completed without that focus, of course, but there is absolutely no incentive given to use more creative builds to complete the content. Everything else is going to be inefficient at best.

Between hindering group play and boiling the challenge down to a damage check, I really don’t find this particular bit of content to be very appealing personally.

Bestial Menace [BSTM] (Ehmry Bay) Casual/Friendly Guild

I just have to say that Bestial Menace is a really great guild, with a number of extremely helpful and friendly members who will be happy to help you with anything from crafting to finding vistas or completing jumping puzzles. It’s a really nice little community and having friendly players to socialize with as well as fight along side makes GW2 that much more fun!

I’d strongly suggest that anyone looking for a fun, casual guild should check them out :]

Chinese characters support

This is a problem with Japanese as well. Most characters show up correctly, but some show up corrupted or, in the case of kana characters, are simply blank.

I hope this is something that can be fixed soon.

Japanese language text support

Since release I have noticed that it appears to be impossible to communicate in Japanese using in-game chat. Most kanji tested display correctly, but kana all appear as blank characters when entered. My guess is that this is simply due to a lack of full Japanese support within the game’s font assets.

Is this something that will be corrected in the future? I, like many people, would find it very helpful to be able to chat in Japanese within the game. I kind of expected this would be some sort of oversight or minor issue that would be resolved by now, but it’s been a while since release and I’m just curious if this is something that has any hope of being fixed.

Thank you for your time.

As a Charr doing the Ash Legion storyline, I’ve found the game extremely frustrating to nearly impossible at times. I gave up on enjoying the story missions around level 20, because the vast majority of them usually involved me and 2 or 3 NPCs vs large groups of 6 to 15 enemies at once. My allies always died, without fail, and this leaves me alone to try to contend with the remaining enemies.

“Retry from recent checkpoint” is essentially useless; this does not take you back to an early portion of the mission, prior to your NPCs getting you and themselves killed and alerting all the enemies on the map to spawn. This simply moves you to a checkpoint on the map with your allies still dead, and sometimes surrounded by now-spawned enemies.

What is silly is that generally the missions were lowering my level by 2 or 3. At first I wondered if the Mesmer was just that weak or if I was a horrible player, but I was having no issues at all in general PvE and still don’t. As I’ve reached around level 37 now I plan to go back and try these yet again with more skills, but in my personal opinion these quests are poorly designed at best.

There needs to be substantially different level scaling, and perhaps the option to order your NPC allies to stay somewhere, not attack, or otherwise give you some options with them. If we are meant to do these missions with a party of people, that is not made at all clear at any point during the game, and that should be addressed.
