Guild Wars 2

So, been a reroller since August 2012 and need some assistance.

I was wondering who is easier to play with the most variety of builds at higher levels for PvE, and some WvWvW.

I enjoyed watching my wife level a warrior to 80 and watch how easy it was for her to do Arah and other dungeons. Clear cut and straight forward skills allowed to her to fly through content and enjoy it. I on the other hand felt like I worked alot harder to accomplish the same end result. My time was spent more on researching builds, key combos.

I do not want to spend so much time following the complicated task of balancing Engineer builds but I also dont want a completely simple playstyle.

Would I be safe to assume the thief is right in the middle?

I am a bit sad that as a low level character I have to try and beg someone to let me join them in this dungeon, I say keep it there so I can get to 80 first!

Where would all of you rate the mesmer or an Engineer in PvE compared to a thief?

I have narrowed it down to 3 classes and they are..

mesmer Thief, and Warrior.

Things I want:

1. Ranged and Melee Range attacks.
2. Dungeons
3. Open World farming at 80
4. WvWvW
5. Completionist (Achievements, Dungeon gear)

I want something fairly easy to play in PvE and Dungeons primarily, I am figuring if I level up via Crafting, DE’s, and Personal Story I can learn enough to be competent at these three classes.

Being a father and having a full time job limits the amount of time I am able to play so am looking for something that I can pick up fairly quickly and contribute with.

I have myself and two others (Wife and Brother) who would like to join you guys if your looking for more nice people

I guess it’s all a bit much to manage, the engineer seems to have to respec to do support while greatly sacrificing his ability to do other things. Is there something out there in the middle of the curve that offers something like a warrior shout healing build.

How much of a demand is there for a healing bomber engi?

I got through level 80 as my bombing engineer by doing nothing but hearts and 100% world exploration. It was a good journey but by the end of it I noticed I never found anything better then bombs for pve killing. I then took a step in AC and did I feel lost, my specs were geared towards bomb damage and healing but they wanted me to use elixir gun. Knowing I wasn’t specced for it I knew it was going to be worthless support.

It’s basically a but much for me to manage multiple builds from pve and dungeon running. I never got into the whole kit swapping so I am asking for advice.

What choices do other classes provide for an easier all around pve experience with some degree of effort. Warrior might be a little bland and the engineer may be too much

to play well compared to the Engineer?

So after leveling an engineer to 80 and 90% world completion I have come to believe the only effiecient way to pve is with bombs/grenades.

I am looking for some variety at this point in my builds and some fun in WvWvW. I dont think I could play something so straight forward as a warrior but having to rely on kits is a downer.

I started this class because of pistols, elixers, and turrets.. none of which are reliable with RNG, and DMG.

Also interested in Mesmers, Guardians.
