What’s the difference between a wand and a scepter?

So with HoT being released a few days ago I’m sure many people are feeling confused as to what to start with and what new addition to pursue first. There’s just too many things on our plates now. Can someone recommend a course of action or something that will help us get started with all this new content?

There are rumours going around that ascended gear will have the “stat change” like legendaries. so having multiple gear sets might not be needed, maybe only if you need rune swapping.

Is it possible for you guys (Anet) to allow us to have account name changes with the coming expansion? Some of us have made some stupid account names. 3 years is a long time to keep to one account name, and with the expansion hopefully lasting another 3 years, I would really like to change it.

Or maybe a discount price? ‘cause I never played WvW but looking at what they are doing in HOT I really want to start WvWing. Thing is, I am on a almost dead WvW server (that’s what they tell me) and I don’t feel like buying the expansion AND enough gems to transfer.

I want to transfer to a different server by deleting all my characters. I just want to know if I will keep all my items in my deposit? or only the items in my personal bank
