Probably a mistype. The lore on the “official” wiki (which is hosted by ArenaNet, but ArenaNet people rarely contribute directly), sadly, isn’t as well maintained as it should be.
Yeah, I wouldn’t doubt it. Very much hoping for future clarification on a lot of information on the Exalted. On one hand, I want to take the blog post and believe all the information there is purely accurate. On the other… Anet lore.
That said, there are also inconsistencies, such as the Last Forgotten mentioning Glint’s death – although that could be explained by Glint having foretold that she would die before the Exalted awoke, and thus the speech of the Last Forgotten was given on the basis of that being the case. Most of the indications seem to point to the Exalted having been created after the events of Eye of the North, but within a few decades of Eye of the North.

Maintained? Maybe, hard to say. Build? Probably not. I’d say it’s Forgotten build.
Alright! That helps. Forgotten are something I’ve not exactly looked too far into—Although, revisiting their wiki page:
“Around 100 years ago, the forgotten appeared in the Maguuma Jungle, where they made preparations to protect Tyria from the rise of the Elder Dragons. Under their guidance, the golden city of Tarir was built as a place to collect and safeguard artifacts of Glint’s legacy. Mortals were recruited to become Exalted, who serve as the custodians and protectors of Tarir. After completing their tasks, the forgotten left Tyria, and Tarir and the Exalted lied dormant until the death of Glint. "
Not certain how much of that lines up with some of your following bits, if the Exalted were created 200ish years ago. Mistype, or lore mishap?
Also hard to say. The general consensus seems to be that the Exalted were created about 200 years ago (unlike what the blog post says). We know that the area dried out somewhere in the past 250 years.
Oh boy. 100 years, 200 years, or 300 years. Who knows. Unless the Forgotten did create the Exalted, or began to create them, over 300 years ago, up until the point of ~100 years ago when they mosied over to Maguuma to create Tarir?

So. Lore. I’m not great at it, but I have an idea I’m attempting to formulate and I need some help with those who are more familiar with this corner of the lore and the first Guild Wars.
Assuming that the structures in the The Sealed Cavern in Silverwastes were, ofc, built and maintained by the Exalted at one point or another—Is it safe to assume that, when the Exalted did so, it was when the area was still lush with jungle and tropical life? Would, when the Exalted when to sleep, it still been considered Silverwood?
Under the assumption that Silverwastes is present day Silverwood anyways.
And speaking of that, does anyone have a rough estimate as to when the Exalted DID go to sleep? I’ve heard some pretty conflicting things as, while they woke when Glint’s legacy returned, they did mourn Glint’s death, but they also went to sleep before her death? I’m a little lost on that front.
And as for the Cavern specifically, is anything else known about it? The entrance to Bloodstone Fen seems to line up directly atop it, comparing the maps, but not having played GW1 before, I’m not sure if that has any significance. Was/is it THE entrance to Bloodstone Fen, or just a coincidence, or?
Asking a little bit of everything here, but trying to get my lore straight, plus see everyone’s thoughts on this.
As a side note, I do find it interesting that a lot of the plant life (life?) and the boulders and cliffs in The Sealed Cavern are made of gold similarly to the Exalted structures. But that doesn’t seem to reflect at all in Tarir or Auric Basin. Any thoughts on that?

I’ve been checking the Wiki every so often, and it now states that you can find the Juvenile electric wyvern in Verdant Brink, Canopy over the Pact Encampment – on a large rock south. I am anxiously awaiting nightfall to see if this is actually true, I will report back. Here’s the link to the Wiki page.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Juvenile_Electric_Wyverni saw the same thing from the wiki and checked it out myself. thing is “large south rock” is a bit vague and while i looked on the rock the fire wyverns are known to be, the electrics werent there. poked around a few other rocks in the general south area but havent had luck finding the electric despite having spent quite some time doing so
This is where the Fire Wyvern is, not the Electric. I might be wrong, I didn’t look again.
Yeah, I’ve been to that rock multiple times now, in showing others how to get to it when it’s not nightfall, and running up to do the Mastery JP accessible by the jumping mushroom. Been there at various times day and night and haven’t seen any juveniles aside from the fire wyverns—But perhaps some other conditions have to be met for the electric ones to spawn. I’ll keep an eye out.
Still looking for the juvenile tiger and electric wyvern, as everyone else is. I’ll probably take a poke around Dragon Stand later on and I’ll report back if I have any luck.
In the mean time, if anyone would like help getting to the fire wyvern, bristleback, or the event chain to get the smokescale in Teku Nuhock, I’m definitely willing to lend a hand. Feel free to add, or whisper me via the character name Taamene. NA server.
I’m not a pro at the maps yet, but I’m getting there ahah. Soon we shall have all the new pets collected!
