Its done the same thing again after each patch. The last 2 I did what ronsalon suggested, and it fixed it. Sooo, its looking like that has to happen after every patch?
Hard to distinguish if its a patch problem or a Verizon one. 3rd time in 2 days.

It is doing the same thing for me too. I just updated to Windows 8.1, could that be relevant?
