Hello I am a Thief-main who also play a lot of engineer.
My favorite part of Engineer was playing a healing tank in PVP. I did this by using the trait Elixir infused bombs, Backpack regen and a clerics amulet. I had so much fun with this build that i went from 0 matches to 144 matches in PVP.
But now that is impossible for me.
The trait Elixir Infused Bombs has magically disappeared and i don’t know what to do on engi anymore. I tried other builds, but none of them sticks with me like the healing build.
It is the most fun i’ve ever had on engi and i don’t think it will be the same aftewr the recent patch.
I cannot understand the decision that made it so this trait would get deleted from the class.
I think that ArenaNet can easily slot this onto one of the other bomb-focused trait and it would make the kit more interesting and encourage build diversity. Traits i think can have this buff slotted on them is “Shrapnel” or “Short Fuse” which is already bomb-specific traits and it wouldn’t be over-powered if Shrapnel for example also healed allys in the radius of the bomb explotion.

I hope this will be taken in consideration and maybe be changed in the future.
