Search and rescue fails HORRIBLY! It needs to be fixed. Also the rangers downed skill called lick wounds fails all the time. It’s really annoying.

The thing that bothers me most was that when dying and having to run back to ‘tag’ the boss to make sure after you died you still get loot was anoying. What will happen to this now?

So unless u are with friendly people who will go out of combat and/or res you or let you portal you can go tag him and get ya loot…

Seeing how I run with pugs a lot I highly doubt that will EVER happen… lately it’s all about quick killing and rushing to the end … I see a lot of people just being left for dead while the other 4 or 3 handle the boss themselfs (because that is totally do-able even with 2 man the AC dungeon can be done as I have seen it myself)…

I see myself being that unlucky dead person a lot too and since I only run the dungeons for the loot/money to be able to keep up with the rich basterds I see this is going to be a problem.

I got a sugestion… Stop making everything freaking soulbound !!!! Accountbound? okay I can understand but soulbound? WTF man -.- I bought guild backpack then later made a quiver… Guild Backpack is now total waste … Also now I found out u can actually make a quiver with different stats but guess what my quiver is totally useless now if I made a new one !!! GRRR >.< I hate HATE soulbound crap in games… Reason why I left previous game. Everything I make now or get and is obviously better then what I had makes the rest so useless and total waste of time -.-

All I am saying it allow players to choose weather we wanna pay for it or not… I still feel like being forced to spend money :/

More Gem Store Items should be avalible in another way aswell!

I think you should let us be able to choose more if we want to use the gem store to get certain items. We can already get boosters and other things through daily (Eventho I am so unlucky and barely get an extra thing that can come with a coin and karma jug).

The make-over for example…
I am a player who is constantly working on getting that perfect look. It helps me enjoy the game even more. However, now that I know the Make over service is only avalible through gems I’m a little dissapointed (I don’t know if u can get it by finishing daily, but I’m not that Lucky anyway).
It’s not just the make-over. I have noticed I need ALOT of fine transmutation stones to get the right armor look with the right stats.

It is just so annoying I can only get those items with gems. These are items I would wanna use daily and I cant unless I spend a fortune on a permanent hair make over scroll?! Seriously?

GIVE US A CHOICE ! PLEASE !

Do not force us to spend hours in in dungeons farming the gold and spend our pennies on gems… It’s something I’m really not comfortable with. We can’t all farm the gold to get gems specially not with current prices. You cant even get 1 gem for 1 silver anymore. Thats messed up. It takes to much time… Time I rather spend on Exploring the world. Crafting my armors already takes a lot of my time and money.
Also I’m not a welthy person that can just take out a creditcard and charge money every week.

I thought you guys wanted to make the game for the players… no more forcing us to do things we dont want like gringind etc…

Come on :/ an ingame barber shop would be so awesome… A way to get fine stones when u need them ingame without needing a heap lot of gold would be so awesome. Okay maybe its not a heap if u wanna buy 5, but I did math and 25 would be 16 gold… If I look arround not everyone is able to get that just like that. You can make comments on it lik well then ur just nto doing somethign right in the game if u cant get that much gold, but putting time in the game also has alot to do with it. Not everyone plays it all day. Some people only have a few hours a week.

Just let us be able to get the items in a different wa aswell :/ and people who wanna spend money and get certain items quicker can still do that too.

Also Armor skins shoul not be a one time use… Yes you can use transmutation stones but once your level 80 then you have the issue of getting more gems again for the bloody fine stones… So I gotta wait with that awesome armor skinn till I hit lvl 80 and finally got the armor stats I want… So annoying…

Once you bought a skin it should eb avalibel anytime u want it. Like HoM Skins. HoM Works perfectly!

Same goes for the Festival hats and Costumes people buy. I don’t wanna have to buy extra space so I can collect it all. GW1 had an awesome npc where you could get any costume or any hat that u had unlocked at any time you wanted!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!

Why is it not in GW2? You really gonna make it hard on us… make us switch that one outfot we buy on all our 8 chara everytime ? Make us buy another cus we are sick of putting it in the bank all the time?

The Fine transmution stone sale in the gemstore is totally stupid. People who do not want to use a gem store are screwed.

Players like me need tons of them cus we love playing arround with armor looks… and face it, once ur lvl 80 thats the only stone u need …. the basic ones become totally useless… Let there be a way we can transform basic ones into fine? YES PLEASE!

Really disliking im forced to buy gems with my few gold pennies I got to get them and get the armor look at 80 with good stats that I want :/ Totally screwed!

We need an NPC like in GW1 that will let you remake the skins and also costumes and hats that we get… They taking way too much space and I hate loosing my skins on accident… Sucks badly

Glad to see I am not the only one with bad experiances. Also thank you all for giving some great tips. I will surely be doing something with them. Especially turning map chat off might help!

I have completed AC with lower level people so it is not impossible. Harder? yes but a lot of fun it was for sure! With some nice people even the dying was not bad at all.

Checking the Achievementscore can be tricky tho. Some people might gain points for completing puzzles etc and never do a dungeon while I do more dungeons then darn puzzles lol but I get your point!

Further more I think the game is great ad may still have some flaws but it is still great. It’s just people that I do not understand. Some people care a little too much about being the best unfortunatly. Guess this will always be like that too.

Anyway, you guys helped alot so thnx for that! I’m trying to focus a bit more on the players that are actually nice and helpfull. Such a shame tho that just one jerk can change my mood so much. That’s just something I have to change about myself wich is darn hard haha.

Gem prices are pretty sad for the people who do not play lot (it is sad for everyone, but let’s not forget there are people who do not play ALL day). I mean someone who does not play a lot like my brother (who only has like … idk a few hours in the weekend and not even every weekend) does not need most items from the Gem Store and therefor won’t have to buy the gems, however during events it was a bummer he could not get the gems to pay for what he liked during Halloween … or someone else with the same problem might like a make over some day wich is now a new gem feature….great. With prices today this is insane :/
Even for me! I want a kitten make over but I rather look ugly then pay the gem prices now x.x it’s so high!
I guess if I have to be fair… I do kinda play ‘a lot’ but simply do not know how to ‘farm’ gold and do not want to spend my time all day on making money. I want to enjoy the game. I do not need a lot from the Gem Store but some things are nice to have. It’s no fun seeing your friends walk around in nice fashionable clothes in town, have fun with their pirate canons… or get make overs and parade with their mini pets. Thank god I was able to get a mini from the Trade Post lol. But seriously :/ Why cant there be one ingame Price for gems like there is with real money? Would that not be the most fair option?

A lot of opinions have been given. Some with a little rude tone, but maybe my first post had a rude tone in it aswell. I just do not understand why some people just have to be such giant jerks in the game. It is so frustrating. I mean I have enough trouble in real life, so I wanna relax and have fun online. Not get my feelings bashed in even more.

The other day I met a total jerk who I ended up blocking and reporting. You know what he even said to me before I did so? That in real life he’s a great mr. nice guy but when he comes to play this game he is a jerk. Can u believe that… Why would anyone log into a game and just be an jerk all day just because they can? I guess I answered my own question :/

Some of you people have more luck meeting the nicer side of the community then I have. I’m happy I have a nice guild and all but it would be so much more fun to randomly meet ppl and have a good time then get bashed on for no reason.

I hear it in videos on youtube, I read it in the news paper… Guild Wars 2 has a great community…

However in every community you have the rotten apples. Why do I always meet them everywhere I go?

I consider myself a decent person and a avarage gamer meaning I am nice (when people are nice to me to) and I got a few skills I guess…
Still the mean ppl who play GW2 know to find me and tear the blood from under my nails. Already have I had to report several people for herassment. Already have my feelings been hurt several times. I have been scolded at with several names going from noob to ‘ur a ****ing idiot’ or worse…

and for what? I will tell you… one of many examples…

Ascalonian Catacombs – Looking for more members… ONLY level 80… wtf?
Knowing this dungeon is for people arround lvl 35 and being my curious self, I asked some of these people why they asked for lvl 80 payers only…
Reason nr1: Level 80 players are better players. (I laughed)
Reason nr2: Lvl 80 players have more skills unlocked (I can understand this argument)
Reason nr3: Lvl 80 players have more skills unlocked and are therefor better players. (I laughed again)

Seriously… I really do not know what to say to this. Is this happening only on my server or what LOL… I can honestly say that some runs with lvl 35 players went A LOT better then when I was with some lvl 80 players. Ofcourse being lvl 80 with most skills unlocked and max gear makes it a lot easier, it doesn’t mean that someone at a lower lvl can’t be as good. When I tried to discuss it ingame with a few people, some reacted with: w/e A few said; maybe you are right. Some didn’t say anyting back anymore and some told me to **** off.

Another example…

Citadel of Flame – Dungeon Path (I forgot atm) ‘The path with the 4 Acolytes at the end wich you have to kill (preferably at the same time) to then be able to damage a huge (boss) rock…’ lol

While one members is distracting the charr boss, the others and I try to find our way to the acolytes that we have to kill. 4 acolytes, 4 people, one for each person … simple right?
I am the first one to reach one of the acolytes in the back… We start killing them tho I then suddenly notice that one of my teammates runs also to my place… leaving one acolyte without a person to kill it and messing up the spawning time… I get the blame for this… why ? I do not know… Looking back at it, I think they thought I got there second instead of my other teammate…?!
I run to the last acolyte and kill it so we can all damage the big rock… My team mates freak out when their acolytes spawn again and mine has not yet appeared (since I had to kill it later then the rest) Totally freaking out, saying I am afk, a slacker, a noob blabla Saying I have to kill my acolyte (wich still didnt spawn…) When I finally killed it, I get blamed that I should have waited for the other 3 to spawn again… (in the meantime the big rock thing could already have been destroyed but okay…)
I try to explain them again… They only freak out more when I try to tell them to relax and that it’s all not such a big deal if one acolyte is killed later… The rock thing drops fast in HP and it’s not really that difficult to destroy it…blabla They freak out even more what ended up in to me getting kicked from the team…

Some people are insane…. Seriously people… Have you forgotten that it is iportant to have fun? Instead of calling people names who are ‘less’ in ur eyes? Because that is NOT fun… That is just a sad thing to do. Why could they not have explained what they wanted to achieve in a friendly matter… Because they are the rotten apples of GW2… Unfortunatly, every game has them.

Do any of you ever have these kind of issues? Share your story with me, get it of your chest as I did and let’s make Anet aware of these things happening ingame.

I warned my team mates that I would report them and they laughed in my face saying Anet only deletes those reports anyway. So I reported them anyway…
A week banned from the game would be a nice thing for them! Unfortunatly I do not have such awesome powers and will never know what happend to my herassers.

Dear Anet… I hope you take your reports seriously. A few insults I can take, but if more and more come, the game just will not be fun for me anymore.
I found a nice guild and I am seeing some of that great community you speak of… but I ask you not to cut back on things as herasment reports eventho you guys must be increadably bussy with this awesome game. – Thank you!

I try to collect all the nice artwork and ingame screenshots I find or make myself and post them on my charachter her facebook page. I love collecting the loading screens mainly for some weird reason lol !

I totally Agree with this. I have been searching the forum like crazy if anyone mentioned something like this!
A scroll, a potion, a npc, whatever it is, it should not be expensive like for example the costumes wich are 500 gems :/ Not everyone has the time to just work their kitten off for money.
If I play a game such as Guild Wars 2 then my Character’s look is VERY important. So a barber option should totally be there! I do not want to play 5 or more years with the same look… It is one of the reasons I quit playing GW1. I was sick of my chara her face and left because there was no make over service at that time and I did not feel like starting all over.

An actual race or Gender and profession changer I would not mind either… (I would understand that a profession changer is a bit weird… going from a light profession to a medium or heavy one would cause trouble with armors and weps… they would be a bit useless and I would myself would rather create a new chara in that case, but I have seen some ppl who would actually still liek to see a profession changer)
I hate starting all over at lvl 1 :/ So using a makeover to go from a Human who has finished story mode and I am bored of… to making her a charr and play the story mode at lvl 80 would be awesome! Not having to start at lvl 1 again… keeping all ur gear and weapons!

I have noticed a few times already that I wanted to change my lvl 80 her face and my other chara her race. However, since you guys decided that some armor and weapons are soulbound, I tried to surpress my urge to delete and remake her the way I wanted her to look… Wich I would have done if SOULBOUND items wasn’t such a problem. I really hate that. I can’t stick them into the bank, remake my character, lvl her to 80… and give her back the armor and weapons. So another suggestion: Less Soulbound crap :/

Character Makeover KITS = HELL YES !! I am already bored with how my character looks… I’m sick of her face -.- My other character I noticed a few mistakes I made with the body but since both are already lvl 80 and have freaking Soulbound crap.. I do not want to delete her. Make over kits with a decent price (preferable ingame coin instead of stupid gems) HELL YES :O

I think if you watch the forum or talk about it with ppl ingame (that play the game instead of comming to the forum) you will notice that ALOT of people want to see them account bound. I am also one of them.

I have the dye’s that i unlocked so far on my main, but then I switch to my alts and think sjasbat -.- I do not have dye options here (Because I can use my gold on other things then buy each freaking dye for each of my chara).

+1 here ! Dye for whole Account and Armor stash YES … I am not motivated at all to get more armor sets. Specially not when they are souldbound and I know I wont be able to sell them later to anyone else.

I personally think soulbound weapons are lame anyway. Armor I can understand, but still, once you wear it you will never sell it to another person, nor can I give it to a good friend to use.

If I want more armors/weps to wear and I am unable to sell all my old ones, where am I going to put them?

Buy more space with gems ? ! -sigh- Not everyone is great at making gold. Specially not when everyone forgets to add the TP fee to the value of the items they sell, so everything is underpriced and I cant make money that way -.-

Purchase with gems… -sigh- I have better things to spend gold on. Not everyone is good at ‘farming’ gold.

I am missing a keybind (I think yhat is how you call it) for the ‘send item to chat’ option.

Cntrl is nice for one item but shift for multiple items to chat >.< SO ANNOYING !
I use shift often for other things. In Guild Wars 2 I use it for Target enemy nearest. I am so used to this, that it is REALLY annoying to switch and if I do use it, I start sending my skills to chat and I’m unable to move because w-a-s-d is also being send to chat….

They should allow us to change wich button we want to use for ‘send item to chat’.

Sometimes it is fun swapping when you have friends in several guilds. Also when you are not sure wich one to join you can swap easily and find out what suits you best. This way you can play with anyone u like and later pick one fav guild.

I do not really see the problem. If you do not want such ppl in ur guild then kick em out. Honestly that would be a jerkish thing to do.

I posted a suggestion like this several days ago aswell. However I put it under the wrong Forum section and now I can’t fint it anymore, eventho they said they moved it to here.

So yeah, somewhere on the hero panel would be awesome. It can have the same like options as our helmet and shoulder parts.

Hate how I have to keep walking to the bank to reget my pet when my bags where full. Such a shame. I also always just simply forget i have a mini pet. It does not make me want to collect more of them.

I managed to get survivor (finally with crafting a bunch of crap… did not really feel like surviving but okay lol) and now my september monthly has been reset.

Now I can do september like anyone else and pretend that I finished my August one. However the whole rezoning / dc-ing making it reset is still annoying !

I missed my August Motnhly reward because of the stupid survivor bugs. some of my friends can say they got that reward in such a short time (wich they did)… and I’m feelign left out eventho I know I made it :/

My september one still has not reset btw. Not sure about all these passific timings but yeah :/ It does say September on top but it’s the same as august.

The survivor title is obviously bugged, but it is also badly designed, because of two things. First, players going for survivor will stay back and not go in to rezz people at a difficult encounter. Second, due to level scaling and crafting getting survivor is by far easier to do on higher level. At level 80 it takes about 10-20 minutes. At level 44 about 4 hours.

Currently it rewards players for not doing what you are supposed to do: play the game your way and playing social. For these reasons I’d replace survivor with two social achievements. I recommend replacing survivor with two title tracks: rezz a number of unique players and rezz a number of unique npcs. Both are not farmable and not tied to your level.

Lifetime survivor should stay I think … if it finally worked, but yeah in the monthly it is totally unfair…
I get crap from lvl 80 players all the time… I don’t even wanna be lvl 80 in a day like they did … screw that… that is not how I play :/
I love survivor but maybe in monthly it is not a great idea. Ressing ppl on the other hand would sound awesome. I love doing that aswell ! I already have the 1000 max! I want to be motivated to do even more! Great idea ! (but do count npc’s to because yeah for survivor it is not always great to res ppl in the heat of battle haha)

Survivor is an important aspect of the game to me. Very Important actually… To see it so bugged makes me sad and I do not feel much like playing actually. After all we all play in our own ways en enjoy different things. Survivor is totally my thing.

My first try it got stuck at 22k. I redid it again after completing all the other August things and reached 100k I was so happy I finished ! … but I never got a reward… Some of my friends did and it makes me said I can’t say I got the first monthly reward (because WOW that month was freaking short and I made it, wich made me feel awesome)

Now it said September and nothing actually reset. So I retried survivor (because I absolutely love it!) and I made it to 26k THE BAR WAS MOVING YAY! Then to 30k something and I disconected form the game… It freaking wont move again now and it pissing me off !

On top of that all the lvl 80 jerks are saying I should lvl my chara first and then go for survivor… Hell they dont know low lvl survivor is way more awesome to achieve…

Then someone told me that he/she actually had to get 25k first then an ADITIONAL 50k… making it 75k…. then an aditional 75k and 100k making his or her survivor a total of 250k exp! and he/she got a reward…

Now that is totally weird and I thought I was being trolled…

wtf is going on x.x I’m so confused !
