Had to completely wipe my HD from a \boot error so I now need to reinstall the game.
I put in the CD, go to Computer, and right-click.
Game begins to load the initial 10,000kb, then stops. I found that it at least wrote the GW2 folder and .dat file, but nothing else.
Why does it just shut off and not continue to load off the CD? Does the same if I try to download off the website.
I’m set as administrator, so that should not be a problem.

Mine was all blank for days as well-
right-click> RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
It worked. Thanks to whoever posted that a few pages ago.
I’m patiently waiting for this to get fixed, but come on. 99% of the other players don’t appear to have a problem accessing it.
Anyone make it through this quest? Not only do the thrall respawn in 2-3 minutes, you can’t complete the quest after you spend 45 minutes to an hour getting to the 2nd set of miners. The miners just vanish without going to the required area with the roots.
Word of advice for anyone silly enough to try to complete this- HURRY through it or you will get caught between respawns and die over and over. Might be different for heavy armor, but with an ele it’s pretty stupid.
Already shut down the game, hard booted the computer, etc. No change. I can;t use the trader.
Says nothing at all. Just a blank box.
Doesn’t matter which icon I pick- gems, currency, sell… they are all empty.
Seems like EVERYONE else is having a good old time using the trader. I’ve tried relogging about 5x, trying different trader mobs, and STILL can’t access the trader..
Any ideas or is it just me that’s bugged?
